摘要: A method controls a motor using pulse width modulation (PWM). The method involves measuring the PWM frequency; determining the carrier frequency of a set radio transmitter; and matching the PWM frequency to the carrier frequency of the radio transmitter in such a manner that an integer multiple of the PWM frequency corresponds to the carrier frequency or an integer multiple of the PWM frequency lies in the middle between two carrier frequencies.

摘要: A method and a device for estimating the coefficient of friction by a 3D camera. The 3D camera records at least one image of the vehicle's surroundings. The image data of the 3D camera is used to produce a height profile of the road surface in the entire space ahead of the vehicle. Based on the height profile, the local coefficient of friction of the road surface that is to be expected in the space ahead of the vehicle is estimated.

摘要: The invention relates to a method for estimating the roll angle in a travelling vehicle (7), comprising the following steps. In step a), a camera (8) is used to record a sequence of images of the vehicle's surroundings, in particular of the road (1) ahead. In step b), at least one signature (S1-S6) on the road surface is extracted from the camera images, i.e. said signature is determined and tracked. The changed position of the at least one signature (S1-S6) in one or more subsequent camera image(s) is used in step c) to determine in which direction the camera (8) is turned with regard to the roll angle. The value of the roll angle is estimated in step d).For this purpose, the roll angle is either directly estimated in step d1), taking into account the vehicle speed (v) and an imaging model of the camera (8), or the roll angle is iteratively increased or decreased by a defined correction angle in step d2) until the roll angle sufficiently compensates for the turning of the camera (8). On this basis, the estimated roll angle is obtained as an overall correction value.

摘要: A method for classifying objects into obstacles and non-obstacles for a vehicle is described. The vehicle comprises a sensor for covering the surroundings that detects stationary and moving objects in a scene in front of a vehicle. Where required, the path of the motion of the objects is tracked. The method provides one or several observers, wherein one observer classifies an object according to predetermined features and contributes to an overall classification result when there are several observers. An observer detects the path of the motion of vehicles in the surroundings of at least one stationary object and classifies the stationary object in dependence thereon.

摘要: The invention relates to a method for the recognition of traffic signs that at least include one main sign and one assigned additional sign, and to a respective device. A method according to the invention comprises the following steps:A camera records at least one image of the vehicle environment. The presence and class of one or several main traffic signs is recognized from the data of the image recorded by the camera. The presence of one or several additional sign(s) assigned to the main sign is recognized. The additional sign(s) is/are classified to the extent possible using a pattern recognition method. If classification was not or not completely possible using the pattern recognition method, a text recognition method reads and interprets the text of the additional sign to determine its information content. In a further step, a relevance assessment is performed in which the recognized text is compared with situational information such as time of day, weekday, distance the vehicle has traveled since passing the traffic sign and additional sign that were recognized, weight of the vehicle, whether the road is wet, outside temperature, position of the lane the vehicle is in, activation of the turn signal and/or a recommended turn from an active route planning feature.

摘要: To support a driver in guiding a road vehicle, the lane markings of the road, traffic signs and/or vehicle license plates are detected by an environment sensor system, which produces corresponding image data, which is evaluated by an image evaluation system by comparison to stored country-specific data. From that evaluation, at least one country estimation signal is generated in an image processor, and then a country signal indicating the current location of the vehicle is generated from the at least one country estimation signal by a microprocessor. The country signal correspondingly activates a driver information device outputting country-specific information for guidance of the vehicle and/or the country signal is fed to a driver assistance system that supports the guidance of the vehicle.
