Abstract: The disclosure relates to a 5G or a pre-5G communication system which will be provided to support a higher data transmission rate after a 4G communication system such as LTE. The present invention provides a method for providing a service by a target base station in a wireless communication system, the method comprising: when the target base station supports an on-going service, which is the same service as a service currently received by a terminal from a source base station, transmitting, to a base station server, a service registration update request message requesting a re-establishment of a first bearer provided between the source base station and the base station server connected to the source base station; receiving, from the base station server, a service registration update response message indicating that the re-establishment of the first bearer is accepted; and receiving data related to a service, provided from the base station server, through the first bearer re-established between the target base station and the base station server, and transmitting the data to the terminal.

Abstract: A method for generating a key hierarchy by a MS in a wireless network is provided. The method includes transmitting an authentication request message to a new BS, receiving an authentication response message as a response message to the authentication request message from the new BS, determining whether to perform a full authentication operation with a H3A server based on the authentication response message, performing the full authentication operation or a crypto-handshake operation with the H3A server based on the determining result, after performing the full authentication operation or the crypto-handshake operation, determining whether a first expected signature value received from the new BS is identical to a first expected signature value calculated by the MS, and if the first expected signature value received from the new BS is equal to a first expected signature value calculated by the MS, determining that an authentication for the new BS has succeeded.

Abstract: A method of performing a Network Coding (NC) by a transmitting node in a wireless communication system, the method comprising receiving uplink packets from a plurality of nodes through respective links, grouping the links into at least one group based on channel quality information, each group satisfying a listed range of channel quality information, performing the NC on downlink data for each group and transmitting each scheduling information shared by each group to the at least one respective group. A method of receiving network-coded data in a wireless communication system comprises transmitting an uplink packet to a transmitting node, receiving scheduling information shared by a group of links from the transmitting node, the group of links satisfying a listed range of channel quality information, receiving downlink data on which NC is performed and decoding the downlink data based on the scheduling information.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a method and apparatus to control a web loading time in a network. A method of a network controller to control a web loading time of a terminal includes acquiring information regarding at least one terminal currently accessing a base station. The method also includes detecting a transmission control protocol (TCP) session to download a web content of the terminal. The method further includes among a main object and at least one embedded object included in the web content, adjusting a priority for a transmission of the main object. Accordingly, a loading time of a web content is decreased by increasing a transmission priority of a main object constituting the web content in a network congestion situation.

Abstract: A method for allocating a resource in a serving base station (BS) in a cooperative communication system is provided. The method includes detecting a base station identifier (BSID) of the serving BS and a BSID of each of other serving BSs included in the cooperative communication system; determining an available resource which the serving BS will use and an available resource which each of other serving BSs will use based on the BSID of the serving BS and the BSID of each of the other serving BSs; and transmitting information on the determined available resources to cooperative communication cell member BSs which the serving BS manages.

Abstract: When a Mobile Node (MN) is assigned IP addresses, the number of which is greater than or equal to the preset number of IP addresses that the MN is capable of being assigned with, the MN identifies information on the pre-emption vulnerability of each session associated with an IP address, and releases an IP address which enables a disconnection of a session. When there are multiple IP addresses associated with the pre-emptable sessions, a consideration is given to multiple conditions related to which IP address is to be selected, one IP address is selected, and the relevant IP address is released. When any IP address cannot be released, a new session is associated with an IP address which can give the smallest overhead to the MN and the network among the existing IP addresses, so that an IP address can be efficiently assigned.
