摘要: A radio frequency IC device includes a radio frequency IC chip, a feeder circuit substrate, and a radiating plate. The feeder circuit substrate includes a feeder circuit that electrically connects to the radio IC chip and that includes a resonance circuit and/or a matching circuit including inductance elements. The feeder circuit substrate is bonded to the radiating plate, which radiates a transmission signal supplied from the feeder circuit and supplies a received signal to the feeder circuit. The inductance elements are arranged in spiral patterns wound in opposite directions and couple to each other in opposite phases. The radio frequency IC device is able to obtain a radio frequency IC device that is not susceptible to being affected by a usage environment, minimizes variations in radiation characteristics, and can be used in a wide frequency band.

The loop-shaped electrode of the auxiliary electrode pattern is coupled to a maximum-voltage section of the magnetic-field radiation electrode through a capacitor.

摘要: A wireless IC device has a resonant frequency that is hardly altered or affected by external influences and reliably communicates with a reader/writer. The wireless IC device includes a wireless IC chip arranged to process a radio signal, a feeder circuit board coupled to the wireless IC chip and including a feeder circuit, and a radiation electrode arranged at least one principal surface of the feeder circuit board. The feeder circuit board includes a magnetic material and has the feeder circuit disposed therein. The radiation electrode is disposed on at least one principal surface of the feeder circuit board so as to be electromagnetically coupled to the feeder circuit and includes at least two open ends. The wireless IC chip is coupled to the radiation electrode through the feeder circuit and communicates with a reader/writer using HF band frequency.

摘要: An antenna and a wireless IC device that includes the antenna are provided for which the manufacturing process is simple and for which there is a low probability of a poor connection occurring between a feeder portion and a radiation electrode. An antenna includes a radiation electrode that is provided on a main surface of an insulator board, a ground electrode and/or a counter electrode that is arranged so as to oppose the radiation electrode, and a magnetic field electrode that is connected to the radiation electrode through a connection portion. The magnetic field electrode is defined by line-shaped electrodes and feeds a signal to the radiation electrode from a feeder portion defined by ends of the line-shaped electrodes through the magnetic field electrode.

摘要: An antenna device is arranged to transmit or receive a radio frequency communication signal to or from an external device such as a reader/writer, and is arranged such that an antenna resonance circuit including an antenna coil and a capacitor is connected to an additional resonance circuit including an inductor and a capacitor. The antenna device is constructed such that a change in characteristics thereof caused by a change in the distance between a radio frequency IC device and a reader/writer is minimized, and the radio frequency IC device performs communication with high reliability.

The radiation plate includes an opening provided in a portion thereof and a slit connected to the opening. When viewed in plan from the direction of the winding axis of the coil pattern, the opening in the radiation plate overlaps with an inner area of the coil pattern and the area of the inner area is approximately the same as that of opening.

The resonant circuit is an LC resonant circuit including an inductance device and capacitance devices. The power supply circuit board is a multilayer rigid board or a single-layer rigid board, and between the wireless IC chip and the radiation pattern is connected by DC connection, magnetic coupling, or capacitive coupling.
