Abstract: Methods and apparatus, including computer program products, are provided for localized routing. In some example embodiments, there is provided a method. The method may include receiving, by a target base station, localized routing context information for a user equipment, wherein the localized routing context is received from at least one of a user gateway or a controlling mobility gateway; and sending, by the target base station, updated localized routing context information to at least one other base station, wherein the updated localized routing context information is sent via a local interface between the target base station and the at least one other base station. Related apparatus, systems, methods, and articles are also described.

Abstract: Example embodiments of the present disclosure relate to devices, methods, apparatuses and computer readable storage medium for selection of a channel access priority. In example embodiments, a subset of data units from a set of data units is selected for multiplexing into a data packet. The selecting is at least in part based on a channel access priority associated with each of the subset of data unit. The subset of data units is multiplexed into the data packet, and then the data packet is transmitted.

Abstract: Systems, methods, apparatuses, and computer program products for user equipment are provided. A method may include determining to transmit, upon data arrival on a logical channel, the data on a configured grant for the logical channel. The method may also include transmitting, based on the determination, the data on the configured grant to activate a cell. In an example embodiment, the transmission on the configured grant may be performed regardless of a current activation status of the cell for which the configured grant is configured, or a suspend status of the configured grant.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to mechanism for providing multiple transmission opportunities. According to embodiments of the present disclosure, the network device transmits the random access response which includes an indication as to the number of transmission opportunities. If the random access response includes the preamble of the terminal device, the indication as to the number of transmission opportunities is applied to the terminal device. In this way, overheads are saved and the flexibility is improved.

Abstract: In accordance with an example embodiment of the apparatus there is at least a method and apparatus to perform determining a grant for data to be communicated, comprising identifying logical channels to be multiplexed into a medium access control protocol data unit for the data to be communicated, wherein at least one of a logical channel identifier for at least one logical channel of the multiplexed logical channels and length of at least one logical channel service data unit is configured to be omitted from the medium access control protocol data unit. Further in accordance with an example embodiment of the apparatus there is at least a method and apparatus to perform receiving a grant for the data to be communicated, comprising logical channels multiplexed into a medium access control protocol data unit for the data to be communicated, wherein at least one of a logical channel identifier for at least one logical channel of the multiplexed logical channels and length of at least one logical channel service data unit is configured to be omitted from the medium access control protocol data unit.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to mechanism for interactions for entering into the sleep mode. According to embodiments of the present disclosure, the network device transmits the information of go-to-sleep, GTS, to the terminal device on a lower layer (for example, the physical layer). The lower protocol layer informs the higher protocol layer (for example, the MAC layer) of the information of GTS. The terminal device determines how to monitor the physical downlink channel based on the information of GTS. Further, the terminal device may switch bandwidth part based on the information of GTS. In this way, the GTS is able to significantly save power.
