Abstract:
A dental implant capable of reliably preventing elution of metal when the dental implant is applied within an oral cavity and capable of reliably preventing the occurrence of mismatching (bumpy occlusion or the like) when the dental implant is fixed in place. The dental implant includes an abutment comprising a titanium member composed of a sintered body made from titanium or titanium alloy, and a ceramic member composed of a sintered body made from oxide-based ceramic. One of the titanium member and the ceramic member has a recess and the other of the titanium member and the ceramic member has a protrusion inserted into the recess. The shape of the protrusion conforms to the recess.
Abstract:
This invention provides a technique of preventing determination of image alteration when digital image data has undergone, e.g., rotation without any substantial change in contents. To do this, an area separation processing unit separates image data into areas. For each of the separated areas, an area feature value calculator calculates an area feature value independent of the coordinate information of the image. An area order sorter sorts the separated areas in accordance with the calculated area feature values. A validation data generation processing unit generates validation data based on the sort result.
Abstract:
In a method for manufacturing a dental implant including an abutment, the abutment is manufactured through steps including a titanium molded body production step for molding a titanium molded body composition to obtain a titanium molded body having one of male and female thread portions, a ceramic molded body production step for molding a ceramic molded body composition to obtain a ceramic molded body having the other thread portion which makes thread coupling with the one thread portion, an assembling step for assembling the titanium molded body and the ceramic molded body together so that the one thread portion makes thread coupling with the other thread portion, to obtain an assembled body, a degreasing step for degreasing the assembled body, and a sintering step for sintering the assembled body thus degreased.
Abstract:
A semiconductor device includes plural core chips and an interface chip that controls the plural core chips. Each of the plural core chips includes a layer address generating circuit that generates a second chip address by incrementing a value of a first chip address and a layer address comparing circuit that compares a third chip address supplied from the interface chip and the second chip address, and activates a chip selection signal when the third chip address and the second chip address are matched with each other. When a non-used chip signal is in an inactivated state, the layer address generating circuit supplies the second chip address to another core chip, and when the non-used chip signal is in an activated state, the layer address generating circuit supplies the first chip address to another core chip without a change.
Abstract:
An apparatus that inputs image data, adds additional information to the image data, and outputs the image data. The apparatus also acquires position information indicating a geographical position of the information processing apparatus, sets an on state in which position information acquisition processing is executed and sets an off state in which position information acquisition processing is not executed, and determines whether position information can be acquired by the acquisition means. The apparatus includes a setting device for 1) when the off state is set for position information acquisition processing, setting information to that effect as the additional information, 2) when it is determined that the position information cannot be acquired, setting information to that effect as the additional information, and 3) when position information acquisition processing is on and position information can be acquired, setting the acquired position information as the additional information.
Abstract:
When a lightness level expressed by a selected pixel value is equal to or larger than a threshold, the use amounts of respective color materials of a first color material group, and those of respective color materials of a third color material group are stored in a memory in association with the selected pixel value. On the other hand, when the lightness level expressed by the selected pixel value is smaller than the threshold, the use amounts of respective color materials of the first color material group, and those of respective color materials of a second color material group are stored in the memory in association with the selected pixel value.
Abstract:
An information processing method enables verification of validity of signed data using received partial signed data parts, even when all the signed data is not received. According to the information processing method, signature data including a signature value and digests of a plurality of partial signed data parts is received. Then, the signature data is verified by using the signature value and the digests of a plurality of partial signed data parts. Subsequently, the partial signed data is received according to a result of verifying the signature data. Then, the partial signed data is verified using the partial signed data and the digest of the partial signed data.
Abstract:
It is possible to safely constitute a key management method having an access structure equivalent to the hierarchical key management method with a small amount of calculations. The method includes: a setting step for setting a set (,) of the number of times a one-way hash function is executed for each of the elements of the rank i; a key generation step for generating two separate keys for the elements as the value of the number of times the one-way function has been executed corresponding to the set of the number of times which has been set for the elements of the two original keys for each of the elements; and a key delivery step for delivering the two separate keys for the elements to each of the elements. Furthermore, the method includes an initial key generation step for calculating N keys with a route node positioned at the most significant node when generating a key at each node from a parent node and performing key delivery according to the hierarchical relationship expressed in a directed graph having no cycle; and a node key generation step for generating the value of the number of predetermined times the one-way function is executed according to the execution specification for M keys (M≦N) among the N initial keys in each node, as the M node keys for the node.
Abstract:
When image data in which a digital watermark is embedded accesses a server, particularly, a Web server, via a network, the server is appropriately selected and accessed via the network in accordance with the environments of the clients that access the server. A network access terminal includes an extraction unit for extracting first information from an image that includes the first information, which is multi-valued, an acquisition unit for acquiring from a predetermined storage device the first information extracted by the extraction unit and address information specified by second information different from the first information, from among a plurality of address information stored in the predetermined storage device, and a communication unit for accessing an address based on the address information obtained by the acquisition unit.
Abstract:
An encryption technique and a decryption technique that are applied to video data that is encrypted on a predetermined domain of compressed video data are disclosed. For example, JPEG2000 compressed video data can be compressed using a wavelet conversion. Compressed video data is input. The input video data is decompressed to a predetermined domain of the compression process, and the decompressed video data is then encrypted. The encrypted video data is then compressed in accordance with the decompression process, and information representing the encrypted compression domain is stored in a predetermined area of the compressed video data.
