摘要： The present invention provides a multilayer wiring technology by which high adhesiveness and high insulation reliability between wirings are obtained, while maintaining effective low capacitance between wirings. A semiconductor device is characterized in that a first insulating film is an insulating film formed of at least one layer which contains a siloxane structure containing silicon, oxygen and carbon; the siloxane structure in the inner part of the first insulating film contains a larger number of carbon atoms than the number of silicon atoms; and a modified layer which containing a smaller number of carbon atoms and a larger number of oxygen atoms per unit volume than the inner part of the first insulating film is formed on at least one of an interface between the first insulating film and the metal and an interface between the first insulating film and a second insulating film.

摘要： An encoder-equipped sealing device, that is, a sealing device that has an encoder incorporated therein is disclosed, which comprises a combination of seal elements, each of which includes an annular metal core having a substantially L-shaped cross section and including a cylindrical portion and a flange portion provided on one end of the cylindrical portion and extending in a direction perpendicular to a direction in which the cylindrical portion extends. One seal element, of the two seal elements, and the other seal element are combined such that a space defined by the cylindrical portion and flange portion of the one seal element, and a space defined by the cylindrical portion and flange portion of the other seal element, face opposite each other, wherein the one seal element further includes an elastic seal portion provided on the flange portion and arranged in the space defined by the cylindrical portion and flange portion, and the other seal element further includes a magnet-based encoder provided on the flange portion. The one seal element further includes a projecting portion on an end of the cylindrical portion on a side on which the flange portion is located and extending beyond a side of the flange portion opposite a side on which the seal portion is located and in a direction in which the cylindrical portion extends.

摘要： To suppress deterioration in reliability of wiring and to reduce effective dielectric constant of wiring. In a semiconductor device, copper-containing wirings are covered by barrier insulating films, and the barrier insulating films contain a component of an organic silica containing unsaturated hydrocarbon and amorphous carbon. The copper-containing wirings are covered by the barrier insulating films that contain a component that is in an organic silica structure containing unsaturated hydrocarbon and amorphous carbon. Accordingly, inter-wiring capacitance is reduced without deteriorating reliability of the copper-containing wiring, thereby realizing a high-speed LSI with low power consumption.

The treatment section includes a conductor that is connected to a high-frequency source, and is configured to have a sandwich structure in which the conductor is sandwiched between a non-conductor on the distal end side thereof and a non-conductor on a proximal end side thereof. The conductor is formed to be exposed in a strip-shape at a side surface of the treatment section, and a lateral movement of the treatment section causes a cutting of a submucosal layer with the conductor to be performed.

摘要： A combination seal is attached to a bearing comprising a fixed element and a rotating element which rotate relative to each other, so as to seal an inner side and an outer side of the bearing. The combination seal is comprised of a seal ring and a slinger. The seal ring is comprised of a reinforcing ring and an elastic seal supported by the reinforcing ring. A leading end side of the elastic seal, supported by the reinforcing ring extending toward the slinger, is brought into contact with a surface of the slinger, which is opposite to the seal ring, when the combination seal is attached to the bearing. During a combining work process, when combining the seal ring and the slinger to form the combination seal, a seal lip does not turn over and the seal lip can be held toward a predetermined direction without using a specific jig during the combining work process and without being particularly careful during performance of the combining work process.

摘要： An encoder-equipped sealing device includes two seal members arranged to face opposite each other and each having a reinforcing ring with an L-shaped cross section. Each of the reinforcing rings has a cylindrical portion and a flange portion extending from one end of the cylindrical portion in a direction perpendicular to the cylindrical portion. One seal member includes an elastic seal formed in such a manner as to be supported by the reinforcing ring of this seal member, with the elastic seal extending toward the other seal member such that a seal portion is formed between the elastic seal and the other seal member. The one seal member includes an elastic element formed in such a manner as to be supported by the flange portion of this seal member. The elastic element is formed on a side of the flange portion of the one seal member that is opposite a side facing the other seal member.
