Abstract: The present invention relates to a method and device for sharing a candidate list. A method of generating a merging candidate list for a predictive block may include: producing, on the basis of a coding block including a predictive block on which a parallel merging process is performed, at least one of a spatial merging candidate and a temporal merging candidate of the predictive block; and generating a single merging candidate list for the coding block on the basis of the produced merging candidate. Thus, it is possible to increase processing speeds for coding and decoding by performing inter-picture prediction in parallel on a plurality of predictive blocks.

Abstract: Disclosed are an intra prediction mode encoding and decoding method, an image decoding device, and an image encoding device. The intra prediction mode decoding method comprises the steps of: deriving most probable modes (MPMs) from surrounding prediction units adjacent to a current prediction unit; and deriving an intra prediction mode of the current prediction unit on the basis of an MPM flag indicating whether an MPM having the same prediction mode as the intra prediction mode of the current prediction unit exists among the derived MPMs.

Abstract: According to the present invention, an image encoding apparatus comprises: a motion prediction unit which derives motion information on a current block in the form of the motion information including L0 motion information and L1 motion information; a motion compensation unit which performs a motion compensation for the current block on the basis of at least one of the L0 motion information and L1 motion information so as to generate a prediction block corresponding to the current block; and a restoration block generating unit which generates a restoration block corresponding to the current block based on the prediction block. According to the present invention, image encoding efficiency can be improved.

Accordingly, upon image encoding/decoding, computation complexity may be reduced.
