    Abstract: This disclosure relates to implementations to support non-UE-specific (i.e. common) and UE-specific search spaces (SS) for M-PDCCH. One implementation relates to a UE comprising RF circuitry to receive, from an eNB, configuration information of one or a plurality of common Search Spaces (CSSs) for M-PDCCH; and baseband circuitry to monitor the one or more configured CSS for M-PDCCH transmissions; wherein the RF circuitry and/or baseband circuitry is adapted to support a reduced bandwidth (BW). Another implementation relates to an eNB comprising RF circuitry to transmit configuration information of a plurality of CSSs for M-PDCCH to one or more UEs supporting a reduced BW, wherein the plurality of CSSs for M-PDCCH are differentiated by “based on functionality”-differentiation that includes the type of use case and/or an EC level of the UE.

    Abstract: Systems and methods of early termination of uplink data transmissions for a UE are described. The UE transmits capacity information that indicates that the UE supports use of an ETS. The ETS indicates successful reception by the eNB of the uplink data prior to an end of a scheduled transmission period to transmit repeated instances of the data. The UE receives a schedule for repeated transmissions of the data that is based on a coverage level of the UE, and then transmits sets of one or more repetitions. After the transmission, the UE monitors a predetermined resource whether the ETS is present or whether the ETS indicates an ACK. If the ETS indicates successful reception, the UE terminates transmission of the remaining repetitions of the data and enters a sleep mode or transmits other uplink data.

The monitoring pattern includes one or more monitoring spans within the search space set. Each of the one or more monitoring spans is associated with a set of parameters defining that particular monitoring span. The method includes selecting at least one monitoring span of the one or more monitoring spans. The method includes assigning the UE to monitor the at least one monitoring span. The method includes performing, by the UE, PDCCH monitoring during the selected at least one monitoring span.

    Abstract: In an example computer-implemented method, a user equipment (UE) receives first configuration data including an indication of a search space set for monitoring a wireless network for an uplink cancellation command, and second configuration including an indication to activate monitoring of the wireless network for an uplink cancellation command. The UE further receives a first physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) including scheduling information for an uplink transmission. The UE monitors the wireless communications network for the uplink cancellation command in accordance with the search space set, and receives a second PDCCH from the wireless including the uplink cancellation command, where the uplink cancellation command includes an indication to cancel a first portion of the uplink transmission. The UE cancels a transmission of the first portion of the uplink transmission.

    Abstract: A network device (e.g., a user equipment (UE), or a new radio NB (gNB)) can process or generate a configuration of physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) monitoring in different search spaces sets independently from one another in order to manage different services optimally. A processor of the network device can be configured to receive physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) candidates of a PDCCH in a slot for channel estimation across search spaces of the slot. Different priorities can be determined among the PDCCH candidates in the slot based on a priority rule. Then a number of PDCCH candidates can be skipped/dropped from monitoring based on the different priorities of the PDCCH candidates to ensure that a threshold level of blind decoding operations across a plurality of slots of the PDCCH is being satisfied. The UE can monitor a portion of the PDCCH candidates while concurrently skipping another.

A described technique includes receiving, by a user equipment (UE) from one or more Transmission and Reception Points (TRPs), a physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH) transmission; determining, by the UE for a physical uplink control channel (PUCCH) carrying hybrid automatic repeat request-acknowledgement (HARQ-ACK), a TRP index in accordance with a control resource set (CORESET) scheduling the PDSCH transmission; and transmitting, by the UE via the PUCCH, HARQ-ACK information based on the receiving of the PDSCH transmission in accordance with the TRP index.
