Abstract:
A method and apparatus for generating search results with higher relevancy. More specifically, the present invention provides a listing of narrowing or related search terms based upon the search term submitted by the user. The present invention effectively guides users to narrow their search by guiding users to select or click on highly related search terms. In one embodiment, the listing of the highly related search terms is generated in accordance with sales and/or click information, e.g., via scoring of search terms that is premised on sales and/or click information.
Abstract:
A method and/or technique for geolocation safety awareness is provided herein. When a user, having a client device, travels to a location, threats associated with that location may not be known to the user. To determine a safety of the location, the location of a client device may be determined. A search for safety information about the location may be performed, and a threat level may be determined based upon the safety information. When the threat level exceeds a threat threshold, a security operation may be performed. The security operation may comprise presenting a warning notice to the user and/or activating a security timer.
Abstract:
A system may provide for retrieving data within a selected region of a map is provided. The system may include mobile devices configured to display a map and to receive a user selection of a region of the map. An application server may receive data from the mobile device, representing the user selected region of the map and a search criterion. A database may be in operative communication with the application server and executes a query using the data representing the selected region of the map and the search criterion and to return data results corresponding to a plurality of locations within the selected region and related to the search criterion. The mobile device may further be configured to display the data results corresponding to the plurality of locations on the selected region of the map and the displayed data results are automatically updated when the user moves the selected region of the map.
Abstract:
Systems and methods for rewriting query terms are disclosed. The system collects queries and query session data and separates the queries into sequences of queries having common sessions. The sequences of queries are then input into a deep learning network to build a multidimensional word vector in which related terms are nearer one another than unrelated terms. An input query is then received and the system matches the input query in the multidimensional word vector and rewrites the query using the nearest neighbors to the term of the input query.
Abstract:
Disclosed is a system and method for email management that leverages information derived from automatically generated messages in order to identify types of messages and message content. The disclosed systems and methods apply the information learned from decoding previously received messages to other messages in a user's inbox to fully, or at least partially decode the information included within such messages. The disclosed systems and methods analyze messages received in a user's inbox to detect message specific information corresponding to types of content in the message and the location of such content in the messages. The message specific information is then applied to other newly received or identified messages to learn message specific information about those messages. Based on such learning, information can be extracted from such messages in order to increase a user's experience and increase monetization.
Abstract:
Electronic messages may comprise pieces of economic data, such as an email comprising a first sales receipt and an instant message comprising a second sales receipt. Pieces of economic data may be extracted from electronic messages to obtain a set of extracted economic data. A scale factor may be determined based upon historical economic data (e.g., gross domestic sales data, stock data, etc.). A real-time economic indicator (e.g., a coincident indicator, a leading indicator, etc.) may be determined based upon the set of extracted economic data and the scale factor. The real-time economic indicator may be provided to users, such as through a real-time feedback (e.g., according to a license agreement).
Abstract:
Systems and methods for recommending bidded terms are disclosed. The system collects a plurality of bidded terms and separates them into ad groups. The add groups are then combined into sequences of terms, which are fed into a deep learning network to build a multidimensional word vector in which related terms are nearer one another than unrelated terms. An input term is then received and the system matches the input term in the multidimensional word vector and recommends the nearest neighbors to the term.
Abstract:
Methods and systems for fixed delay storage operations such as lookup and insertion and their applications to advertisement exchange systems are disclosed. In one aspect, a method is provided for inserting a key into a corresponding location in a storage within a fixed delay. The method may determine the corresponding location for inserting the key by a first hashing function and a second hashing function. The method may also utilize an eviction criterion for evicting collided hashed values of the key to ensure the insertion time for operations related to inserting the key to be bounded by a fixed delay, which may be within a fixed time interval, or within a fixed number of steps.
Abstract:
A system and/or technique for graphical interface presentation comprises receiving a search string and presenting a search result series to a user on a client device. Search results of the search result series are presented in the form of cards, where a first card comprises information associated with a first search result of the search result series and a second card comprises information associated with a second search result of the search result series. A user may navigate through the cards to view various search results.
