摘要: An electrical contact unit electrically connects a first main member, e.g., a camera housing, with a second main member, e.g., a camera lens, which is mountable on the first main member. The first main member is provided with a contact cradle, which has first electrical contacts, e.g. pins, and a rolling or sliding member. The contact cradle is rotatably mounted on a cradle axle. The second main member is provided with second electrical contacts and a receiving recess. When the second main member is in a first mounting position, it presses against the rolling or sliding member so that the contact cradle assumes a retracted position, in which none of the first electrical contacts are in contact with the second main member. When the second main member is in a second mounting position, the rolling or sliding member is located in the receiving recess so that the contact cradle assume a contact position, in which each of the first electrical contacts is in contact with a corresponding one of the second electrical contacts. The second main member moves from the first mounting position to the second mounting position and vice versa by the main members being rotated relative to one another.

摘要: An electrical contact unit is provided for a first main member, which has a mainly planar first mounting surface, and for a second main member, which has a mainly planar second mounting surface and is mountable on the first main member. The first mounting surface and the second mounting surface lie against each other when the second main member is mounted on the first main member. The first main member comprises a male contact member, which has an outer surface and carries electrically conductive male contacts, and a maneuvering pin, which extends out from the outer surface. By means of guide elements, the male contact member is mounted in the first main member for motion generally perpendicular to the first mounting surface between an outer position and an inner position. When the male contact member is in the inner position, the outer surface is withdrawn relative to the first mounting surface, the male contacts are in a position of maximum extension, and the manuevering pin is in an innermost position and lies against the second mounting surface. When the second main member is not mounted on the first main member, the male contact emmber assumes the outer position, each male contact assumes the position of maximum extension, and the maneuvering pin assumes the outermost position.

摘要: A spring-actuated electrical connector assembly for electrically and mechanically connecting a device to a power source in high-power, high-voltage applications is disclosed. The connector assembly includes a first connector with an internal receiver, a plurality of side walls, and at least one contact beam. The contact beam integrally extends to an outer surface of the side wall and includes a free end that extends inward of the outer surface of the side wall. An internal spring member is dimensioned to reside within the receiver of the first connector. This assembly also includes a second electrically conductive connector with a receptacle dimensioned to receive both the first connector and the spring member to define a connected position during operation of the device. In the connected position, at least one spring arm of the spring member exerts an outwardly directed force on the contact beam of the first connector to outwardly displace the contact beam into engagement with the second connector.
