摘要: A method for mending an embroidery pattern sewn on an embroidery machine controlled based on a sewing data, having the steps of determining if a sequin is dropped from the embroidery pattern. If the sequin is dropped, stopping the embroidery machine and retrieving a control signal with a supply command for the sequin from the sewing data. An embroidery frame of the embroidery machine is returned to a position prior to the retrieved control signal. The embroidery machine is restarted and a new sequin is sewn onto the dropped part of the embroidery pattern.

摘要: Hardanger embroidery designs, which can be performed by a sewing machine, preferably a computerized machine with digitized design embroidery patterns. The method employs a layer of fabric 11 and a layer of removable stabilizer 12. A wingneedle stitches square eyelet patterns reminiscent of hand-sewn hardanger. Sets of concentric underlay stitch lines 15 bind fabric 11 and removable stabilizer 12 about cutwork sections 16 before removing fabric from said cutwork sections. Sets of intersecting underlay stitch lines 18 replace bar threads in cutwork sections. Each set of intersecting underlay stitch lines 18 is anchored to sets of concentric underlay stitch lines 15 and associated fabric 11. Lace fill stitches 19 stitch onto removable stabilizer 12 in conjunction with intersecting underlay stitch lines. Lace fill stitches are anchored to either intersecting or concentric underlay stitch lines. Both concentric and underlay stitch lines are sewn in sets of at least two separate stitch lines in which each set of stitch lines are approximately parallel. The normal, cross-sectional distance across any set of underlay stitch lines is nearly as long as associated finishing stitches width. Finishing stitches 20 sew normal to, or otherwise cover, all sets of underlay stitch lines and associated cut fabric edges. Finishing stitch widths uniformly and sufficiently cover underlay stitch lines and fabric edges. Underlay stitch patterns 22 sew before and beneath hardanger motifs to locally bind fabric and removable stabilizer. Underlay stitch patterns permit scaling of hardanger motifs independent of fabric choice and emboss said hardanger motifs. Once a hardanger embroidery design is completed, removable stabilizer 12 is removed, leaving a hardanger embroidery design stitched to fabric.

摘要: A machine for producing loom-woven fabrics decorated by embroidery or by applying decorative elements, comprising a first working station, and a second working station, with at least one head for embroidering and/or for applying decorative elements to the sheet of fabric produced in the first working station. The sheet longitudinal advancement elements for supporting the sheet of fabric on a working surface that is substantially horizontal at least at the second working station, and a movement device for moving the head for embroidering and/or for applying decorative elements along at least one direction transversely to the advancement direction of the sheet of fabric on the working surface.

摘要: A chenille type embroidery machine (10) has an apparatus for rotational steering and height adjustment of a needle (22). An actuator (24) locks or unlocks a locking clip (92) to allow the needle (22) to rotate with a needle height adjuster assembly (46) or to be moved vertically up or down. The needle assembly (46) comprises the needle (22), a needle bar 23, a bar clamp (70), a height adjuster locking block (84), an internal needle height adjuster (88), the locking clip (92) and springs (108a-d). When the actuator (24) is in its "unactuated" condition, the height adjuster locking block (84) is locked to the internal needle height adjuster (88) by the locking clip (92) for rotation therewith. In the unactuated condition, the needle (22) is rotationally steered with the assembly (46). In the "actuated" condition, the actuator (24) extends a shaft (126) to move the locking clip ( 92) and disengage the locking block (84) from the internal adjuster (88). In the actuated condition, the internal adjuster (88) is free to turn while the locking block (84) remains stationary and the needle (22) moves vertically up or down.

摘要: A sewing machine system adapted for joining portions of a multiple layer limp fabric workpiece includes a workpiece support surface and a sewing head assembly. The sewing head assembly houses an elongated needle adapted for reciprocating motion along a needle axis extending through an aperture in the workpiece support surface. A selectively operable feeder is adapted to transport a region of a limp fabric workpiece on the workpiece support surface in the direction of a feed axis having a fixed orientation with respect to the feeder. A coupling assembly rotatably couples the feeder to the sewing head assembly so that the feeder is selectively rotatable about the needle axis. A feed controller controls the feeder and includes an orientation controller adapted to selectively control the angular orientation of the feeder with respect to the sewing head assembly so that the feed axis may be adjustably offset with respect to a reference axis on the workpiece support surface. The feeder includes a feeder frame, an endless belt assembly coupled to the frame, and an associated drive motor and linkage adapted to drive the belt assembly to selectively adjust the angle of presentation for a limp fabric workpiece to the needle of the sewing head assembly.

摘要: A stitching head for a stitching or embroidering machine for forming stitches fixed to the machine by a support including at least one needle which is associated with a main presser foot having a pressing heel. The stitching head has an auxiliary presser foot which is independent of the main presser foot and has a heel pierced with an opening. The auxiliary presser foot is mounted for sliding, with respect to the support, along an axis parallel to the needle, whereby its heel is disposed in the path of the downward movement of the main presser foot parallel to and spaced apart from the pressing heel of the main presser foot, while having its opening situated in the path of the needle. A helical spring is mounted for permanently urging the auxiliary presser foot toward the main presser foot.
