摘要： A cutting device, including a frame, a cutting blade, which is fastened to the frame for pivoting about a first pivot axis, and a reduction transmission, which converts each forward pivoting movement of a plurality of successively performed forward pivoting movements and backward pivoting movements of a drive arm into a cutting pivoting movement of the cutting blade. A cutting-blade back-pivoting apparatus is provided, by which the cutting blade can be pivoted back from a pivoting end position to an initial position. The back-pivoting apparatus has, in particular, a tension element, which acts on the cutting blade in such a way that a clearance is formed.

The decking tool may include a frame, actuator, and arms with jaws, wherein the actuator forms a structural component of the decking tool and is located between the frame and the arms with the jaws. Moreover, the decking tool may further comprise one or more shields and jaw guards. The one or more shields may cover the arms on at least one side for protection. The one or more jaw guards may be utilized with or without the shields, and may or may not be integral with the shields. The one or more jaw guards have a number of benefits, such as protecting the jaws, positioning the jaws, being utilized as levers to help remove the jaws, and being utilized to prevent separation of the side-lap seam.

摘要： A paper cutter includes a base having a stationary blade; a fixing seat fixed to the base adjacent to one end of the stationary blade and having a connecting portion extending upward from the base, wherein the connecting portion is atop, peripherally formed with a plurality of teeth, and is formed centrally with a through hole for allowing a shaft to pass therethrough; a connecting element having a rotatory portion that is formed with a slot for allowing the shaft to pass therethrough and being atop provided with recesses for receiving the teeth; and a movable blade having a lower edge formed as a curved edge and having a front end fixed to the rotatory portion. Thereby, when the movable blade is pushed downward, the connecting element is driven to rotate and move along the teeth while approaching and sliding with respect to the stationary blade.

摘要： A sheet material cutter for shearing various widths of sheet material such as aluminum or plastic siding, soffit, facia board and flashing is provided which is readily transportable and useful in cutting a variety of widths of such sheeting. The cutter has a base, a shearing blade of a length greater than the maximum width of sheet to be cut, spaced apart shearing dies mounted on the base and defining a shearing slot through which the blade travels when shearing a width of material, and a post on the base to which the shearing blade is pivotally mounted. The shearing blade includes a pointed section which pierces the sheet material, first the remaining shearing edges of the blade shearing the material to each side of the pierced area to complete cutting of the sheet material. The shearing dies are mounted on plate members of the base such that when the plate members are secured in abutting relationship, a predetermined distance is defined between the shearing die edges to ensure a precision fit of the shearing blade as it passes through the shearing slot adjacent the edges of the shearing dies. In this manner minimum pressure is required in shearing various widths of aluminum and plastic materials without requiring anything other than manual power to operate the cutter.
