Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for automatically marking locations within a radiograph of one or more dental pathologies, anatomies, anomalies or other conditions determined by automated image analysis of the radiograph by a number of different machine learning models. Image annotation data may be generated based at least in part on obtained results associated with output of the multiple machine learning models, where the image annotation data indicates at least one location in the radiograph and an associated dental pathology, restoration, anatomy or anomaly detected at the at least one location by at least one of the machine learning models. A number of different pathologies may be identified and their locations marked within a single radiograph image.

Abstract: An object of the invention is to provide a medical diagnosis support device, an endoscope system, and a medical diagnosis support method where the visibility of a recognition result of a medical image is high.
A medical diagnosis support device according to an aspect of the invention includes an image acquisition section that acquires medical images in time series, a detection section that detects a region of interest included in the medical images, a discrimination section that performs the discrimination of the medical images, a display control section that causes a display device to display any one of a result of the detection or a result of the discrimination, and a setting section that sets a waiting time required until the display is performed after the detection or the discrimination is performed. In a case where an object to be displayed is switched between the result of the detection and the result of the discrimination, the display control section causes the result of the detection or the discrimination to be displayed when the waiting time has passed after the detection or the discrimination is performed.-

Abstract: A feature information acquisition unit acquires the first feature information on the first medical image and second feature information on the second medical image having an imaging time different from an imaging time of the first medical image. A sentence creation unit compares the first feature information and the second feature information generated by the feature information acquisition unit, and creates a sentence representing a change between the first medical image and the second medical image. A display control unit causes the display unit to display a sentence representing a change.

Abstract: Disclosed is a computer-implemented method which encompasses registering a tracked imaging device such as a microscope having a known viewing direction and an atlas to a patient space so that a transformation can be established between the atlas space and the reference system for defining positions in images of an anatomical structure of the patient. Labels are associated with certain constituents of the images and are input into a learning algorithm such as a machine learning algorithm, for example a convolutional neural network, together with the medical images and an anatomical vector and for example also the atlas to train the learning algorithm for automatic segmentation of patient images generated with the tracked imaging device. The trained learning algorithm then allows for efficient segmentation and/or labelling of patient images without having to register the patient images to the atlas each time, thereby saving on computational effort.

Abstract: System and method for measuring dyslipidemia condition of a subject using thermal imaging is disclosed. The disclosed system and method includes thermal sensors for capturing thermal images and/or videos of a body part; and a processing engine to detect a predefined region of the body part in each frame of the captured images and/or videos. The processing engine segments one or more portions from the predefined region in each frame of the captured images and/or videos to identify a ROI comprising arteries in the segmented portions. Based on the identified region of interest, the engine extracts pixel values, representing biosignals, from each frame of the captured images and/or videos to determine parameters associated with a rate of atherosclerotic, levels of lipids and lipoproteins, and hemodynamic factors of the subject. Further a risk score for the dyslipidemia condition based on the determined parameters using computational models is measured.

Abstract: A method for diagnosing, validation of diagnosis and treating a patient having lesions in both arteries of left and right lower limbs. By determining that a larger vessel diameter lesion to be treated first, catheters and an operation time can be reduced is to be treated first on a priority basis based on diagnostic data, deciding that a smaller vessel diameter lesion is to be treated next, then treating the lesions substantially continuously.
