摘要： An acceleration/deceleration mechanism is installed for a lid body rotatably supported on a main body. The mechanism includes a forcing device for forcing the lid body toward an open direction, a locking device for maintaining a closed state of the lid body relative to the main body in opposition to the force of the forcing device, and an acceleration/deceleration device situated between the lid body and the main body. The acceleration/deceleration device increasing a speed of opening of the lid body at less than a prescribed angle of opening of the lid body, and decreasing the speed of opening in excess of the prescribed angle of opening.

摘要： The invention relates to a storage compartment (1) for a vehicle, having a storage compartment cover (2) which is pivotably mounted toward two sides. The latter can be pivoted either toward one side or toward the other side. In order to design the storage compartment (1) such that it can be operated as simply and conveniently as possible and is secure, provision is made for the storage compartment cover (2) to have two locked axes of rotation (21, 22) in its closed position. After one axis of rotation (21) is released, a driving device (3) automatically pivots the storage compartment cover (2) in a damped manner into an open position.

摘要： A storage unit includes a cabinet defining an interior and a door assembly, which has a first door section and a second door section. Each of the door sections is pivotably mounted to the cabinet for movement between an open position and a closed position. The first and second door sections prevent access to the interior of the cabinet when in the closed position and provide access to the interior of the cabinet when in the oven position. The storage unit also includes a link pivotably interconnected between the first and second door sections so as to synchronize movement of the first and second door sections between the open and closed positions. A biasing arrangement counterbalances the door assembly and maintains the first and second door sections in both the open position and closed position and positions therebetween.

摘要： A window and door opening and closing mechanism is disclosed which is particularly well suited for use in casement and awning window fittings. The opening/closing mechanism has a hinge arrangement with two linked arms pivoting from a runner which may be attached to the window frame. One or both of the pivoting arms is mounted to the runner on a slider which is movable along the runner in relation to the pivot mounting of the other arm. The mechanism is operable by way of a cable or cord which has portions wound around a spool which is rotatable by the user. Winding the spool in one direction applies a tension to one portion of the cord or cable to apply a force between the pivot mountings of the arms and draw them together on the runner to open the window by pivoting the arms outwardly from the window frame. Winding the spool in the other direction applies a tension to another portion of the cord or cable coupled to one of the arms to draw them back toward the runner and close the window. When tension is first applied to the opening cable portion, initial limited movement of a wedge member can be used to initiate angular movement of the arms whilst the respective pivot mountings thereof are substantially aligned along the runner.
