摘要： The sealing device involves an elongated release base member having a separation line along the release base member's length. A double-sided adhesive layer is attached to a side of the release base member so that the release base member may adhere to an inner side of a plastic courier bag's sealing flap and seal the plastic courier bag. A reinforcing tape may be further applied to an outer side of the plastic courier bag's sealing flap. The plastic courier bag may be quickly and conveniently opened by tearing down a pull strip of the sealing device. The plastic courier bag may be reused multiple times by applying new, unused sealing devices.

These devices can have at least one connecting structure configured to fit over at least a part of the container's opening, with the connecting structure being connected to at least two sides of the container. In some embodiments, the closure devices have base structures that the connecting structure can connect to and/or be held in place by. In some embodiments, these base structures are configured such that they substantially conceal the portion of the container to which they are connected. In some embodiments, the base structures have festive shapes, for example, being shaped like a birthday cake or flowers. Coupled with the ability to conceal the underlying container, the closure devices can effectively transform a basic paper bag into an enclosed festive gift bag.

摘要： A resealable label is disclosed, the label having a top layer and a bottom layer. The top layer may be one or more ply, and the bottom layer may be one or more ply. The top layer is adhered to the bottom layer via an adhesive layer therebetween. The bottom layer includes a concave perforation, the concave perforation having a line defined by endpoints of the concave perforation. The label further includes a layer of deadener between the label layers, the deadener being on the convex side of the perforation, and terminating at the line, the line extending to opposing edges of the label, where the deadener is at least some distance away from the perforation such that the deadener and the perforation do not abut. The label may further have a layer of adhesive on the bottom layer for adhering the label to a surface. The disclosure further includes a reclosure system that includes the resealable label and an inner label for mounting on a surface.

摘要： Resealable systems for consumer packaging, such as food packaging, are described herein. The system includes one or more anchor points and one or more cling coatings. The anchor points can be introduced into or onto the packaging material during manufacture, such as by co-extrusion. Alternatively, the anchor points can be affixed to the packaging material after manufacture, such as with a pressure sensitive adhesive. The cling coatings can be applied to the packaging material during or after manufacture. For example, the cling coatings can be spot coated or pattern coated onto the desired location. The cling coatings are selective, that is they do not attach to themselves but only attach to the anchor point. The cling coatings transfer little or no material over time resulting in more consistent performance over time than pressure sensitive adhesives.

Formation of a dry edge on the strip, suitable for grasping by the user, is accomplished either by adhering a strip of material such as a dry tape or by the application of a liquid overcoating which chemically deadens the adhesive. The dry edge tape material is preferably made of mono-oriented polypropylene. The film strip is substantially transparent and includes graphics on the underside, beneath the adhesive coating. The graphics show through the film strip, providing visibility of the graphics from the outside.

摘要： A closure device which a consumer or bag manufacturer may affix to most any bag comprises an elongated first strip of flexible material and a thin bendable wire and second strip of material of substantially the same length as the first strip and longitudinally aligned with and affixed to the first strip. The first strip includes an opposite adhesive surface which is covered by a protective strip of release paper at the time of manufacture. A plurality of individual closure devices may be manufactured in sheet form with perforations extending between each adjacent closure device on the sheet. When needed, the consumer tears a closure device from the sheet. The consumer peels away the release paper revealing the adhesive surface and affixes the closure device to the outer surface of a bag. In one preferred method, the consumer affixes the closure device in a traversing manner with the closure device extending between the opposite closed and open ends of the bag. In another preferred method, at least two closure devices are affixed to opposite sides of the bag whereby the consumer may alternately open and close the bag by twisting and untwisting the closure devices together and apart, respectively.
