摘要： The present invention comprises a remote marine monitoring and control system that compiles security information and statistics for on-board equipment on unattended boats, uses a wireless transmitter to send this data to a user over a communications network and allows a user to remotely operate the user's boat in response. Boat operational data can be provided to a user on a variety of personal communication devices and/or through a monitoring web site. These devices can also be used by the user to send a user command to remotely control the operation of the boat. The remote marine monitoring system identifies normal operating conditions for on-board equipment and compares these conditions to current operating activity in order to detect unusual activity. Security information can also be compiled and reported relating to intrusion sensors, keyless entry and the boat's physical location.

An alerting signal is sent from the stolen vehicle in response to receiving the activation signal. The alerting signal is received, and an identification signal is sent in response to receiving the alerting signal. The identification signal is received at the stolen vehicle, and an identification device on the vehicle is activated in response to receiving the identification signal. In a method according to the present invention, a control signal is also sent to and received by the stolen vehicle. A control system of the stolen vehicle is operated via the control signal to bring the stolen vehicle to a safe stop.

摘要： An automotive vehicle anti-theft anti-vandalism and anti-carjacking system utilizing both an audible alarm and visual monitor system for reducing the incidence of theft or vandalism of an automotive vehicle and an emergency alarm device in connection with an emergency alarm station for preventing carjacking or emergency type situation involving the vehicle or the individuals of the vehicle. The alarm and monitor system comprises one or more video cameras mounted within a vehicle and which are adapted for scanning movement by means of a simple oscillating scanning motor. The video camera is equipped with an emergency alarm device designed to signal the emergency alarm station of an emergency type situation. The emergency alarm station comprises video monitor operators responsible for monitoring and handling an emergency situation then informing a 911 emergency station and video monitor units which are capable of receiving signals from the emergency alarm device for tracking and video recording an emergency situation involving the individuals of the vehicle or the vehicle itself. Motion or vibration sensors are also mounted on the vehicle in selected locations to detect movement of the vehicle or activity in proximity to the vehicle beyond a certain threshold level. A remote unit containing a video screen is also provided for viewing the actual conditions or emergency surrounding the automotive vehicle, as detected by one or more of the video cameras. The remote unit is also equipped with an emergency alarm device for a quick response to any emergency situation. The system also includes a tracking mechanism upon emergency situation the tracking mechanism could cause the cameras to rotate a separate path to view second display signs scenery and or building for tracking purposes.

摘要： An anti-theft device for protecting objects and vehicles, includes a housing that is attachable to or permanently affixed to an object or vehicle to be secured, wherein the attachment means is accessible only through a lockable access door of the housing. A flexible conducting securing cable serves as a conductor in an alarm circuit and has one end fixed to the housing and a free end provided with a fitting for insertion into the housing that is retained by a retainer and a lock mechanism in the housing. First and second switches are provided in the alarm circuit wherein the first switch is normally open and is closed when the housing is attached to the object, while the second switch is normally open and is closed when the free end of the cable is inserted into the retainer. The alarm circuit is armed when both the first and second switches are closed, and subsequent opening of the first switch or tampering of the conduction path formed by the conducting securing cable activates an alarm.

摘要： An alarm system monitors a region, and includes a transducer supported to aim toward a boundary of the region. The transducer transmits sonic waves and receives echoes. The system generates an initial value corresponding to the distance between the transducer and a boundary of the region at one time, and activates the transducer at a later time to generate a current value corresponding to the distance between the transducer and a location from which the echoes originate. A control compares the current value to the initial value and activates an alarm when the current value differs significantly from the initial value. In one embodiment of the invention, the transducer aims toward a window of a vehicle and thereby detects either opening of the window or an associated door, breakage of the window, or intrusion into the vehicle between the transducer and the window. Transducers mounted on the underside of a trunk lid and a hood detect lifting the trunk lid or hood, respectively. The hood transducer also detects elevation of the vehicle.
