The method includes: a base station and its neighboring base station encapsulating and transmitting the energy-saving management information through an interface message. The invention further discloses a corresponding method for implementing base station energy saving, a system for transmitting the energy-saving management information, and a system for implementing base station energy saving. The invention can be used to solve transmission of the energy-saving information between base station devices of a network, and avoid the problems, for example, handoff and coverage loss caused by the base station being required to be shut off due to reasons such as energy saving, etc., thus guaranteeing network performance and user experience when the base station is performing the energy saving operation.

摘要: Wireless communication systems, apparatuses, and techniques are described for interworking wireless technologies. Interworking wireless technologies can include operating a wireless communication system that includes multiple radio access technologies (RATs) to provide wireless services to multiple mobile devices, providing an enhanced inter-RAT OMP instance for a mobile device that is in communication with the wireless communication system via the first RAT, where the enhanced inter-RAT OMP instance includes an inactive state and a tunnel active state, operating the enhanced inter-RAT OMP instance to switch from the inactive state to the tunnel active state in response to a message associated with the second RAT, and using the enhanced inter-RAT OMP instance in the tunnel active state to send one or more overhead messages via a communication tunnel to the mobile device. Interworking wireless technologies can include providing an enhanced overhead message protocol (OMP) instance in a wireless sector to broadcast communication messages.

摘要: Techniques for facilitating wireless communication include receiving a message from a mobile station, the message comprising a service option field indicative of an advanced radio configuration capability of the mobile station and establishing a radio link between the mobile station and the serving base station, by using the indicated advanced radio configuration capability. In some implementations, in a CDMA2000 network, a Revision E compliant mobile station is able to operate in Revision E mode with a Revision E base station and a legacy mode with a legacy base station, without being affected by a handoff and without a need to modify bit length of the revision field in the paging response message from the mobile station.

摘要: Apparatuses, techniques, and systems for operating a mobile station with multiple subscriptions includes transmitting a paging message for a subscriber identity of two or more subscriber identities that are associated with a single mobile station over a wireless communication channel based on a paging cycle structure including multiple paging slots. The two or more subscriber identities can include a first subscriber identity and a second, different subscriber identity. Transmitting the paging message can include using, during a paging cycle based on the paging cycle structure, a single paging slot to transmit the paging message, where the single paging slot is associated with the two or more subscriber identities.

摘要: Application mobility is a unique feature of the edge computing to support relocation of application instance across edge computing hosts or between edge computing host and cloud computing over underlying mobile network. With the active-standby mode application instance implementation with support of L2 networks, the application mobility could achieve the service continuity with low latency switching time. An application mobility mechanism can be implemented in the data plane of edge computing host under the control of edge computing platform and management. It can be also implemented in L2 switching function of the User Plane Function in 5G networks.
