摘要: A virtual currency system keeps track of virtual credits, which can be owned, transferred, purchased, and sold by participants in a virtual economy. Each virtual credit has an internal value and an external value, which define, respectively, the exchange rates for creating and redeeming the virtual credits. Upon creation of new virtual credits, the internal value for those credits is the rate for which real currency was paid per credit. The external value sets the rate at which the virtual credits can be redeemed for real currency. Each virtual credit may further have a face value, which is an apparent value of the virtual credit within the virtual economy, giving users a baseline impression for valuing the virtual currency. These features of the virtual currency enable a number of useful actions within the virtual economy, including currency seeding, couponing, and chargebacks.

摘要: A method and apparatus for facilitating online payment transactions in multiple currencies between participants of a network-based transaction facility are described. In one embodiment, an exchange rate associated with a currency is stored in a database. The exchange rate is received from a third party system and is associated with a rate expiration date. One or more payment transactions conducted in the currency are also stored. A determination is made whether a determinable time period has expired, whereby the determinable time period is set to expire prior to the rate expiration date. In response to the determinable time period expiring, instructions are sent to the third party system to execute trades on the one or more payment transactions using the stored exchange rate.

摘要: A radio frequency (RF) front-end configured to share transmissions and receptions of Bluetooth signals and WLAN signals. In an exemplary embodiment, the RF front-end comprises a first path coupled between an antenna and a transceiver dedicated to transmissions of the WLAN signals; a second path coupled between the antenna and the transceiver dedicated to simultaneous receptions of the Bluetooth signals and the WLAN signals; and a third path coupled between the antenna and the transceiver. The third path may be dedicated to transmissions only of the Bluetooth signals when a WLAN link is active; and transmissions and receptions of the Bluetooth signals when the WLAN link is active and in a power save state, and when the WLAN link is inactive.

摘要: Methods and systems are described for providing Bluetooth and Wi-Fi coexistence on an electronic device. Aspects of exemplary embodiments include determining Bluetooth link parameters for a Bluetooth connection and Wi-Fi link parameters for a Wi-Fi connection. Also, a Bluetooth path loss for the Bluetooth connection and a Wi-Fi path loss for the Wi-Fi connection can be determined. According to this embodiment, one or more link conditions, based upon one or more of the Bluetooth link parameters, the Wi-Fi link parameters, the Bluetooth path loss, and the Wi-Fi path loss, may be calculated to determine if simultaneous collaboration between the Bluetooth connection and Wi-Fi connection is feasible. In response to simultaneous collaboration being feasible, the Bluetooth link parameters and the Wi-Fi link parameters are customized based on the one or more link conditions to permit simultaneous collaboration between the Bluetooth connection and the Wi-Fi connection.

摘要: A suction device for surgical operation is used for the suction of a human nervous system and includes a flow controller and suction tube. The suction tube is a metal tube having an end connected to the flow controller and the other end forming a taper portion, and the taper portion includes a suction inlet, an externally curved inverting corner formed at an external side of the suction inlet, and an internally curved inverting corner formed at an internal side of the suction inlet, such that the suction device can prevent injuries to human tissues during the suction process and avoid blood clots from clogging the suction tube, so as to enhance the safety of use and the smoothness of the suction.

摘要: A Serial Advanced Technology Attachment (SATA) connector (40) for being mounted to a printed circuit board (PCB) (200) includes an insulative housing (70) and a plurality of compliant contacts (80). The housing has a pair of side walls (700), a pair of end walls (701), and a bottom wall (702) which together defining a mating space (703), an L-shaped tongue extending from the bottom wall into the mating space. Each contact having an engaging portion (802) retained in the L-shaped tongue and a press-fit tail (803) vertically extending beyond the bottom wall adapted for being mounted to the PCB. The housing further comprises a pair of pegs (706) is integrally formed on the bottom wall of the housing adapted for guiding the press-fit tails mounted into the PCB without damaged.
