Abstract:
A coupon for preparing a TEM sample holder comprises a sheet of material that includes a TEM sample holder form. There is at least one section of the sheet connecting the TEM sample holder form to other portions of the sheet. A TEM sample holder is formed by cutting the TEM sample holder form from the coupon in a press. The cutting joins the tip point of a nano-manipulator probe tip with the formed TEM sample holder. The tip point of the probe has a sample attached for inspection in a TEM.
Abstract:
Procedure for equilibration of the delivery volumes of a multi-channel metering apparatus with an arrangement of independently controlled dispensing channels 1.1-1.n, delivering individual volumes of dispensing fluid to cavities 3.1.1-3.n.n, where measured values relevant to the individual delivery volumes are measured for the same control value and from which an adjustment value is specified with a tolerance band and the control value is adjusted for dispensing channels 1.1-1.n, the measured values of which lie outside the tolerance band. The invention also applies to an apparatus for implementing the procedure.
Abstract:
A device for filling and suction of filter plates in a microtitration plate format which is comprised of a simultaneously working multipipette, two stacking elements, a plate transfer car with a suction station, four lifting drives, and an electric plate holder. The plates emanating from the dispensing stacking elements are filled by the pipettes or the pipette automatic machine and can be deposited on the suction station afterwards with the aid of the plate holder and the lifter. The plates are then lifted together with the weight such that the plate is sufficiently pressed hard on the seal in the suction station. As a result, a corresponding low pressure can be generated in the vacuum station.
Abstract:
A rinsing tray system for cleaning the pipette tips of a multipipetting device is described. The rinsing tray system substantially comprises a first tray and a second tray below the latter, these two trays communicating via openings which are arranged in the same grid dimension as the pipette tips of a multipipetting device. The openings are made in webs so that the rinsing liquid located in the first tray can flow into the second tray only by means of the pipette tips and not directly. The rinsing tray system according to the invention enables a particularly time-saving and space-saving cleaning of the pipette tips of a multipipetting device.
