In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive, from a network node, downlink control information (DCI) that includes a request for a dropped hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) codebook, wherein the DCI indicates a codebook identifier (ID) associated with the dropped HARQ codebook. The UE may transmit, to the network node, the dropped HARQ codebook based at least in part on the codebook ID associated with the dropped HARQ codebook, as indicated in the DCI. In some aspects, a base station may receive, from a user equipment (UE), a message that indicates whether the UE received a downlink transmission from the base station in a first frequency range. The base station may schedule one or more reference signal (RS) transmissions in the first frequency range and one or more RS transmissions in a second frequency range based at least in part on the message received from the UE, and reschedule the downlink transmission on a component carrier in either the first frequency range or the second frequency range based at least in part on channel quality information that is determined from the one or more RS transmissions in the first frequency range and the one or more RS transmissions in the second frequency range. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive an indication to retransmit a hybrid automatic repeat request acknowledgement (HARQ-ACK). The HARQ-ACK corresponds to a HARQ-ACK transmission type of a set of HARQ-ACK transmission types, the set comprising two or more of: first HARQ-ACK information, second HARQ-ACK information, and third HARQ-ACK information. In some examples, the first HARQ-ACK information may correspond to a retransmitted HARQ-ACK codebook, the second HARQ-ACK information may correspond to a standard HARQ-ACK, and the third HARQ-ACK information may correspond to a deferred SPS HARQ-ACK. The UE may transmit a HARQ-ACK transmission including a concatenation of at least two HARQ-ACK transmission types of the set of HARQ-ACK transmission types. Numerous other aspects are described.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A network entity may configure a mapping between a set of power states and a set of codepoints. The network entity may indicate the mapping to a user equipment (UE) via control signaling, such as a first control message. Each power state may correspond to a respective directional communication profile associated with the network entity, the UE, or both. The network entity may transmit a second control message to the UE to indicate a codepoint from the set of codepoints. The UE device may transition to a power state that corresponds to the codepoint (e.g., based on the mapping) in accordance with the second control message. In some examples, the network entity may indicate the codepoint in a field of the second control message associated with a search space set group (SSSG) switching indication.

The UE may transmit the feedback message for the PDCCH or PDSCH communication within the maximum deferral time if the feedback message is deferred beyond a scheduled time for transmission.
