    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A receiving device may use enhanced techniques for determining whether a transmission is scheduled to include new data when a mode for reporting acknowledgment feedback is disabled for one or more hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) processes used by the receiving device. An enhanced technique may include increasing a quantity of bits used to convey an indication of whether a scheduled data transmission includes new data. An enhanced technique may include monitoring a duration between transmissions scheduled by different control messages based on a timing parameter that indicates a maximum time between transmissions of a data set and corresponding transmission including the data set.

    Abstract: Aspects of the disclosure relate to communication of power headroom reports in wireless communication networks. A user equipment (UE) may measure a path loss based on a triggering path loss reference signal (PL-RS) and trigger generation of a power headroom report (PHR) based on the path loss. The UE may identify uplink resources for communication of the PHR to a base station and determine whether the uplink resources are quasi-co-located with the triggering PL-RS. When the uplink resources are quasi-co-located with the triggering PL-RS, the user equipment may transmit the PHR utilizing the uplink resources. Otherwise, the UE may generate the PHR such that it includes information identifying the triggering PL-RS.

    Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may determine that a received physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH) communication is included in multiple downlink association sets, wherein hybrid automatic repeat request acknowledgement (HARQ-ACK) information for different downlink association sets is to be reported in different slots; report a valid HARQ-ACK in a first slot indicated by a PDSCH-to-HARQ feedback timing value associated with the PDSCH communication; and selectively report the valid HARQ-ACK, corresponding to the PDSCH communication, or a negative acknowledgement (NACK) in a second slot based at least in part on whether the second slot occurs before or after the first slot, wherein the second slot is to be used for reporting HARQ-ACK information associated with a downlink association set of the multiple downlink association sets.     Abstract: Various aspects described herein relate to techniques for managing resource allocation in wireless communications. In an aspect, the method includes identifying a system bandwidth for communications, identifying a downlink control information (DCI) format, determining one or more resource indication values (RIVs), and performing resource allocation based on the identified system bandwidth, the identified DCI format, and the one or more determined RIVs. The techniques described herein may apply to different communications technologies, including 5th Generation (5G) New Radio (NR) communications technology.
