    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A first user equipment (UE) may identify a conflict between sidelink messages in one or more sidelink resources of a set of sidelink resources reserved for communications by a second UE. In response to identifying the conflict, the first UE may measure a system load of a sidelink channel for the sidelink messages and may determine a threshold system load of the sidelink channel based on one or more priorities associated with the conflicting sidelink messages. If the system load satisfies the threshold system load, the first UE may transmit a message that indicates the conflict. Additionally, or alternatively, the first UE may transmit the conflict indication using a resource determined based on whether one or more of the conflicting sidelink messages are a broadcast sidelink message or a groupcast sidelink message.

In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may identify a channel sensing mode, from one or more channel sensing modes for sensing channel availability of a sidelink channel, for a communication on the sidelink channel, each of the one or more channel sensing modes associated with a set of resources.     Abstract: In one aspect, a method of wireless communication includes receiving, by a first user equipment (UE), a first transmission from a second UE for a new radio (NR) sidelink channel. The method also includes receiving, by the first UE, a second transmission from a third UE for the sidelink channel. The method further includes transmitting, by the first UE, a feedback transmission based on a medium contention event for the first and second transmissions of the NR sidelink channel and on a range condition.     Abstract: Method and apparatus for on demand assistance for sidelink communication. The apparatus receives, from a base station, an AN configuration for one or more ANs associated with the base station. The apparatus transmits, to the base station, an AR to request assistance with communication with a second UE from at least one AN associated with the base station. The apparatus receives, from the base station, a grant to schedule sidelink transmission with the second UE. The sidelink transmission with the second UE is assisted by at least one AN of the one or more ANs associated with the base station. The described techniques support communication between one or more network entities and user equipment (UEs) via configurable intelligent surfaces. A first UE may transmit, to a second UE associated with a set of configurable intelligent surfaces, first information that indicates a tracking period and a data period that the second UE is to use to manage the configurable intelligent surfaces. The second UE may adjust the configurable intelligent surfaces for the communications between the first UE and network entities during the tracking period and the data period. An example method of wireless communication at a forwarding user equipment (UE) includes receiving, from a forwarded UE, control information, and transmitting, to a sensing UE, a forward message including the control information and information associated with the forwarded UE. An example method of wireless communication at the sensing UE includes receiving, from the forwarding UE, a forward message including the control information containing a first measurement of the control information.     Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. Generally, a user equipment (UE) may estimate one or more channel availability parameter values. The UE may then select, based on a co-channel configuration indicating a relationship between channel availability parameter values and patterns of sidelink resources, a pattern of sidelink resources (e.g., LTE resources) on which to transmit NR packets. In some examples, a special UE may receive individual or aggregated reports of channel availability parameter values. The special UE may select a pattern of sidelink resources (e.g., LTE resources) on which one of the reporting UEs is permitted to transmit NR packets, and may transmit a message activating the pattern of sidelink resources to the reporting UE. The reporting UE may then use the activated sidelink LTE resources for transmitting NR packets according to the indicated pattern.
