Abstract: Wireless communication devices, systems, and methods related to mechanisms to aid a user equipment in determining the channel access priority (CAPC) to use for a data radio bearer (DRB) on the response link, such as uplink (UL), that includes multiple quality of service (QoS) flows for an UL transmission (such as for a configured grant UL transmission). The UE may receive a plurality of QoS flows in a common DRB from a base station. The UE may apply a rule to select a CAPC to apply for all QoS flows in the common DRB on an UL transmission. This rule may alternatively include the base station making the selection of the CAPC to apply and informing the UE of the selected CAPC for implementation. The UE may then apply the selected CAPC to the UL transmission.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. Generally, the described techniques provide for using layer one (L1) or layer two (L2) signaling to indicate a primary cell (PCell) or primary secondary cell (PSCell) to a user equipment (UE). The use of L1 or L2 signaling to indicate a PCell or PSCell may be referred to as L1 or L2 mobility and may lower the latency at the UE associated with transitioning to communicating with the PCell or PSCell. A UE may receive radio resource control (RRC) signaling from a base station indicating a set of cells configured for L1 or L2 mobility and indicating a list of candidate cells for a PCell or PSCell. The UE may then receive L1/L2 signaling from the base station identifying the PCell or indicating activation of the PSCell.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described to support half-duplex-aware resource selection in sidelink. A physical (PHY) layer at a user equipment (UE) may report available resources to a medium access control (MAC) layer excluding some resources on which the UE is scheduled to receive or other UEs are scheduled to transmit. Specifically, the PHY layer may exclude resources on which the UE is scheduled to receive from a set of resources available for a sidelink transmission from the UE. Similarly, the PHY layer at the UE may exclude resources on which other UEs are scheduled to transmit from a set of resources available for a sidelink transmission to those UEs. A MAC layer at the UE may indicate to the PHY layer (e.g., directly or indirectly) the resources to be excluded when reporting available resources.

Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive, from a base station, a resource grant for at least one sidelink channel, wherein the resource grant indicates a first uplink resource for transmitting sidelink transmission acknowledgement messages and a second uplink resource for transmitting listen-before-talk statuses. The UE may transmit, to the base station and on the second uplink resource, an indication of at least one status associated with a listen-before-talk procedure used on the at least one sidelink channel. Numerous other aspects are provided.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. Generally, the described techniques provide for configuration of switching between a single-slot processing mode and a multi-slot processing mode. For example, a user equipment (UE) may receive, from a base station, a first configuration of a first processing mode that is associated with communications scheduled for a single slot (e.g., a single-slot processing mode). The UE may also receive a second configuration of a second processing mode that is associated with communications scheduled for a plurality of slots (e.g., a multi-slot processing mode). The UE may communicate according to one of the modes, determine to switch to the other different mode, and communicate according to the different mode.

Scheduling requests and buffer status reports for low latency wireless communications

Abstract: A base station may transmit a grant to user equipment (UEs), indicating uplink resources for transmission of pending data at a UE. Uplink resources may include uplink resources associated with transmission time intervals (TTIs) and/or shortened TTIs (sTTIs). A UE may identify pending data associated with a data type (e.g., low latency data, internet traffic, etc.) and transmit a scheduling request (SR) for a grant of uplink resources. The data type of the pending data (e.g., the logic channel group identification (LCG ID) associated with a buffer status) may be indicated such that uplink resources may be granted to the UE to reduce latency. In some aspects, the SR may indicate uplink resources associated with sTTIs. Further, the UE may prioritize pending data and buffer status reports (BSRs) associated with other data within the received grant.
