    Abstract: A video decoding method by a video decoding apparatus, according to the present document, can comprise the steps of: parsing, from a picture parameter set of a bitstream, a first flag related to whether a weighted prediction is applied to slices referring to the picture parameter set; parsing, from the picture parameter set, a second flag related to whether information about the weighted prediction is present in a picture header of the bitstream or is present in a slice header of the bitstream based on the first flag; parsing a prediction weighted table syntax from the picture header or the slice header based on the first flag and the second flag; generating prediction samples for the current block by performing weighted prediction for the current block in a current picture based on syntax elements in the prediction weighted table syntax; and generating reconstructed samples based on the prediction samples.

    Abstract: A video decoding method performed by a video decoding apparatus according to the present document may comprise the steps of: parsing a prediction weighted table syntax from a bitstream; parsing number information about weighted reference pictures in a reference picture list from the prediction weighted table syntax; deriving a weighting factor-related flag about the reference picture list on the basis of the number information; performing weighted prediction on a current block on the basis of the weighting factor-related flag so as to derive prediction samples of the current block; generating residual samples on the basis of residual information obtained from the bitstream; and reconstructing a current picture on the basis of the prediction samples and the residual samples, wherein the prediction weighted table syntax is parsed from a picture header of the bitstream.

    Abstract: According to the disclosure of the present document, information used in a palette coding mode may be effectively signaled. For example, information relating to availability of a palette mode may be signaled, and information relating to a quantized escape value may be signaled on the basis of the information relating to the availability of the palette mode. In addition, as a quantization parameter for the quantized escape value, minimum quantization parameter information relating to a transform skip mode may be signaled. Accordingly, information required for palette mode coding can be efficiently signaled, and escape coding efficiency in a palette mode can be improved.

    Abstract: An image decoding method performed by a decoding apparatus, according to the present document, comprises the steps of: acquiring image information including chroma quantization parameter data of at least one chroma QP mapping table for chroma components, and prediction information and residual information regarding the chroma components; deriving the chroma QP mapping table on the basis of the chroma quantization parameter data; deriving a chroma quantization parameter for the chroma components on the basis of the chroma QP mapping table; deriving prediction samples for the chroma components on the basis of the prediction information; deriving residual samples on the basis of the residual information and the chroma quantization parameter; and generating a reconstructed picture on the basis of the prediction samples and the residual samples.
