Abstract:
A digital device including a display unit; a sensor unit; a display unit; a wireless communication unit to be paired with an external device; and a controller configured to receive a message, transmit information of the received message to the external device paired with the digital device, and display detailed information of the received message in response to detection of a predetermined motion using the sensor unit within a predetermined period of time while the digital device is paired with the external device.
Abstract:
A head mounted display (HMD) including a display unit configured to display an augmented reality image; a communication unit configured to communicate with an external device; a gaze detection unit configured to detect a gaze of a user; and a processor configured to execute a function corresponding to the augmented reality image when the augmented reality image and the external device are aligned in a first mode. Further, the first mode is a mode in which a display position of the augmented reality image remains fixed even when a position of the external device is changed, and transmit control information for displaying an execution image of the function to the external device.
Abstract:
Disclosed is a display device providing a user interface to switch a control object of a pointer from the display device to an external transparent display device. The display device includes a display unit including a first display area, a communication unit to communicate with an external transparent display device including a second display area, and a control unit. The control unit receives a pointer control signal, detects a first area among the first display area overlapped by the external transparent display device, sets a user interface to a position proximate to at least a portion of the edge of the first area, transmits the pointer control signal to the external transparent display device when the pointer overlaps at least a portion of the user interface, and transmits no pointer control signal when the pointer moves into the first area in a path not passing through the user interface.
Abstract:
Disclosed is a vehicle, which senses a speed of the vehicle using a speed sensor unit and also senses a vehicle-to-vehicle distance between the vehicle and a first vehicle immediately ahead of the vehicle using a distance sensor unit and then determines a state of the vehicle based on the speed of the vehicle and the vehicle-to-vehicle distance. In this case, when the vehicle is in a first state, the vehicle displays a first image captured by a first camera unit on a first display unit. In addition, when the vehicle is in a second state, the vehicle displays a second image captured by a second camera unit on the first display unit. Here, the second camera unit is a camera unit stalled in a second vehicle, and the second vehicle being any one of one or more vehicles ahead of the vehicle.
Abstract:
A control method of a head mounted display (HMD) is disclosed. The control method includes detecting a first route of a first moving object and a second route of a second moving object in front of the HMD, detecting a third route along which a user's eye gaze moves, setting the first moving object as a reference object if the detected first route identical with the detected third route, setting the second moving object as the reference object if the detected second route identical with the detected third route, and setting a focus of the camera unit on the set reference object based on a route of the set reference object and the detected third route.
Abstract:
A video display device provides multispeed video search, and a control method thereof. The device includes a video display unit to display a video, and a sensor unit to detect user input and transmit an input signal based on the detected user input to a processor that provides a video search interface. The video search interface includes an image display interface, a thumbnail search interface displaying thumbnails of a video, and a thumbnail control interface controlling the image display interface and/or the thumbnail search interface. The thumbnail control interface includes a circular controller, and controls display of an image on the image display interface based on rotation of the circular controller.
Abstract:
The present specification relates to a digital device and a method of controlling therefor. According to one embodiment, the digital device includes a touch sensitive display unit configured to detect a touch input, a transparent cover unit, which is positioned in an open position or a closed position and overlapped with the touch sensitive display unit in the closed position and a processor configured to control the touch sensitive display unit, the processor is further configured to detect the touch input on a first position of the touch sensitive display unit, when the transparent cover unit is in the open position, alter location information of the touch input detected on the first position to a second position, when the transparent cover unit is in the closed position, alter the location information of the touch input detected on the first position to a third position.
Abstract:
Disclosed herein are a head-mounted display and a method of controlling the same, more particularly, a method of performing rotation compensation on a captured image based on an angle of rotating a user wearing the head-mounted display and an angle of rotating a camera detached from the head-mounted display.
Abstract:
A mobile terminal, capable of effectively providing information by using double-sided display units, includes: first and second display units disposed on different sides; a memory unit configured to store both an image and information associated with the image; and a controller configured to control at least one of the first and second display units to display the image and the information associated with the image according to any one among first and second display modes, wherein, in the first display mode, the image and the information associated with the image are displayed on any one of the first and second display units, and in the second display mode, when the image is displayed on any one of the first and second display units, the information associated with the image is displayed on the other of the first and second display units.
Abstract:
A wearable computing device receiving at least one of visual information and audible information from an information providing device and providing the received information to a user is disclosed. The wearable computing device includes a detecting unit detecting a state of the wearable computing device and outputting detection information, a controller deciding whether the state of the wearable computing device corresponds to a first mode or a second mode based upon the detection information of the detecting unit, and controlling an output of the visual information and the audible information provided by the information providing device based upon the decided mode, a converter converting the visual information provided by the information providing device to audible information of a voice format when the state corresponds to the second mode, and an audible information output unit providing the audible information converted by the converter to the user.
