摘要： A core for an electromagnetic device includes a yoke and at least two legs extending from the yoke. The yoke and at least two legs are formed of steel plates laminated together. Each of the legs has a free end face forming a magnetic pole face, a first groove extending from the magnetic pole face and a second magnetic groove on a side face thereof. Also, the core includes a shading coil having a metal ring shape, and including a first linear section and a second linear section extending in parallel with each other. A part of the first linear section is accommodated in the first groove, and a part of the second linear section is accommodated in the second groove and locked therein. A bottom face of the second groove forms an angle with respect to a bottom face of the first groove.

The pair of fixed contacts each includes a support conductor portion supported by an upper plate of a contact housing case, and a contact conductor portion connected to an end portion of the support conductor portion. The contact conductor portion includes a contact plate portion formed with a contact portion, and a connecting plate portion formed on an outer end portion of the contact plate portion and extending to the upper plate side. The movable contact is mounted onto a connecting shaft connected to a drive portion through a contact spring on an end portion on the upper plate side, and disposed to face the contact portion of the pair of fixed contacts.

摘要： An electromagnetic contactor has a pair of fixed contacts disposed and fixed maintaining a predetermined interval; a movable contact disposed to be capable of contacting to and separating from the pair of fixed contacts; an electromagnet unit to drive the movable contact; and a drive circuit driving the electromagnet unit. The electromagnet unit includes at least a movable plunger urged by a return spring, a coil to move the movable plunger, and a ring-form permanent magnet magnetized in a moving direction of the movable plunger. The drive circuit includes a power source to supply power to the coil; a pulse drive circuit to output and supply to the coil an engage pulse causing the movable plunger to perform an attracting operation and a hold pulse maintaining the attracting operation when the movable plunger is subject to the attracting operation, and a flywheel circuit having a semiconductor switching element.

摘要： An electromagnetic switch has a contact device having a pair of fixed contacts fixed inside an arc extinguishing chamber housing and a movable contact disposed to contact with and separate from the fixed contacts; and an electromagnetic device having a movable plunger moving between an opened position wherein the movable contact separates from the fixed contacts and a closed position wherein the movable contact contacts with the fixed contacts and pressed down. The arc extinguishing chamber housing is provided with permanent magnets to extinguish an arc generated at an opening time when the movable contact separates from the fixed contacts from a state in the closed position wherein the movable contact is contacting with the fixed contacts. In a state wherein the movable plunger is in the opened position, a magnetic circuit is formed starting from the permanent magnets and returning to the permanent magnets through the movable plunger.

摘要： The present invention provides a contact mechanism that is capable of, without enlarging the entire configuration thereof, preventing the generation of an electromagnetic repulsion that opens a movable contact upon application of a current, and also provides an electromagnetic contactor that uses this contact mechanism. A contact mechanism (CM) has a fixed contact (2) and a movable contact (3) that are inserted in a current-carrying path. In the contact mechanism (CM), at least either the fixed contact (2) or the movable contact (3) is formed into an L-shape or a U-shape so as to generate a Lorentz force that acts against an electromagnetic repulsion in an opening direction, which is generated between the fixed contact (2) and the movable contact (3) upon application of a current.

The arc extinguishing chamber housing is provided with permanent magnets to extinguish an arc generated at an opening time when the movable contact separates from the fixed contacts from a state in the closed position wherein the movable contact is contacting with the fixed contacts. In a state wherein the movable plunger is in the opened position, a magnetic circuit is formed starting from the permanent magnets and returning to the permanent magnets through the movable plunger.
