    Abstract: A measurement method includes sending, by a first device to a second device, a message including a first configuration, wherein the first configuration indicates that a first event triggers the second device to send a first measurement message. The first event includes at least a channel quality of a measurement object is less than a first threshold, the channel quality of the measurement object is lower than a channel quality of a serving cell of the second device, the channel quality of the measurement object is less than the first threshold, and the channel quality of the serving cell of the second device is greater than a second threshold, or the channel quality of the measurement object is lower than the channel quality of the serving cell of the second device and the channel quality of the serving cell of the second device is greater than the second threshold.

    Abstract: A path switching method includes: determining, by a base station, to switch a first terminal device from a first communication link to a second communication link, and sending, to the first terminal device by using a second terminal device, access information required by the first terminal device to access the base station, so that the first terminal device establishes the second communication link to the base station based on the access information. In the method, the second terminal device may release the first communication link before or after the second communication link is established, or may release the first communication link in a process of establishing the second communication link.

    Abstract: A communications method and apparatus are provided. A network device determines whether a first capability of a terminal device is less than or equal to a second capability of the terminal device. The first capability is a capability of the terminal device of working at a first frequency when the terminal device supports only a first radio access technology, and the second capability is a capability of the terminal device corresponding to the first frequency in a first frequency combination. When the first capability is less than or equal to the second capability, the network device sends a first message to the terminal device. The first message is used to indicate the terminal device to measure a second frequency, the first message does not include a configuration of a first measurement gap, and the first measurement gap is used to measure the second frequency.

    Abstract: A measurement configuration method and an apparatus are provided. The method includes: A network device sends first information to a terminal device. The first information includes configuration information of an SCC. The network device sends second information to the terminal device.     Abstract: This application provides a communication method and a communications device. The method includes: A first device receives a first message sent by a second device. The first message is used to indicate a bearer configuration of a bearer of the first device and an initial status of the bearer configuration, and the bearer configuration includes a first bearer configuration and/or a second bearer configuration. The first device determines the bearer configuration and the initial status of the bearer configuration based on the first message. According to the technical solutions in embodiments of this application, a bearer configuration of a terminal device and an initial status of the bearer configuration of the terminal can be indicated. Because both the bearer configuration of a bearer of the terminal and the initial status of the bearer configuration of the terminal are indicated, communication efficiency is improved.
