    Abstract: A method for transmitting data streams in a multiple input multiple output (MIMO) system is provided, where each data stream is mapped to multiple layers in an MIMO channel space for transmission, and the method includes: performing inter-layer interleaving for N data streams to obtain N interleaved data streams; mapping the N interleaved data streams respectively to N layers in the MIMO channel space, and transmitting the N interleaved data streams that are mapped to the N layers. By using the method of the present invention, a combined CQI can be used in a better way to improve MIMO transmission performance. Further, an impact of inter-layer interference is canceled by using an interference cancellation technology (for example, an SIC technology) based on the inter-layer interleaving.

The method includes sending downlink data with same timing via downlink carriers that are respectively configured in a first communication area, a second communication area, and a third communication area. This application provides a data processing method. A data sending device modulates a to-be-transmitted bit sequence, splits a real part and an imaginary part of a complex-valued symbol that is obtained through the modulation into two symbols to form a symbol sequence, performs phase rotation of symbols in the symbol sequence, and performs sending by using a single carrier frequency division multiple access (SC-FDMA) symbol.     Abstract: Disclosed is a reference signal transmission method and a device. The method includes converting, by a sending device, a frequency domain reference signal from frequency domain to time domain, to generate a time domain reference signal. The frequency domain reference signal includes a reference signal sequence mapped to a frequency domain resource. The reference signal sequence is determined based on a Zadoff-Chu (ZC) sequence, and a length value of the ZC sequence is selected from at least two length values. The method includes sending, by the sending device, the time domain reference signal. According to the reference signal transmission method, one ZC sequence is selected from at least two ZC sequences with different lengths to generate the reference signal sequence, so that the generated reference signal sequence is characterized by a low PAPR and an low RCM, and is used to generate a reference signal, to improve data transmission performance.

    Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention provide a channel quality indicator feedback method and apparatus, and a user equipment, so as to improve accuracy of channel quality reflection. The method includes: acquiring a first channel quality indicator CQI1 based on detection of a pilot that is sent by a base station; acquiring a second channel quality indicator CQI2 based on a result of detection of a demodulation pilot; and sending the first channel quality indicator CQI1 and/or the second channel quality indicator CQI2 to the base station in a manner in which the base station can distinguish the first channel quality indicator CQI1 and/or the second channel quality indicator CQI2. The method provided by the embodiments of the present invention objectively reflects a current channel quality status, so that the base station can acquire accurate channel quality information, thereby objectively scheduling data based on the channel quality information and improving data sending efficiency of a channel.
