Abstract: This application discloses a pulse shaping method, a transmitter, a receiver, and a system. The transmitter includes an inverse Fourier transform module, a pulse shaping filter, a pulse shaping controller, and a parallel-to-serial conversion module. The pulse shaping controller is configured to: receive pulse configuration signaling, generate, based on the pulse configuration signaling, a pulse parameter corresponding to a to-be-configured pulse, and output the pulse parameter to the pulse shaping filter. The pulse shaping filter is configured to: perform subcarrier-level filtering on an output signal of the inverse Fourier transform module, perform pulse shaping processing on the output signal of the inverse Fourier transform module based on the pulse parameter, and output a processed signal in serial by using the P/S module. Different pulse parameters correspondingly represent different pulse shapes. In the foregoing solution, pulse shaping can be flexibly configured, to support different communication scenarios.

Abstract: The application pertains to determining a rank of channel loss extent. A base station sends to a terminal a signaling indicating that there are N ranks of channel loss extent. Each rank has a corresponding number of random access preamble repetitions. The base station receives from the terminal device one or more transmissions of a random access preamble in a first number of repetitions of the random access preamble. The base station determines the rank of channel loss extent according to a random access preamble group in which the received random access preamble is located, or the first number of repetitions of the received random access preamble. A channel loss is a reference signal received power (RSRP). After determining the rank of channel loss extent, the base station determines a second number of repetitions corresponding to the determined rank of channel loss extent, for sending or receiving uplink/downlink information.

Abstract: A control information communication method, a base station, and user equipment are provided. A determination is made whether downlink control information (DCI) is used for multicast transmission or for paging. When the DCI is determined to be used for multicast transmission, the DCI is scrambled by using a single cell radio network temporary identifier (SC-RNTI). The DCI includes indication information and scheduling information, the indication information indicating whether a multicast control channel is updated. When the DCI is determined to be used for paging, the DCI is scrambled by using a paging radio network temporary identifier (P-RNTI). The scrambled DCI can be sent to user equipment by using a first downlink control information format.

Abstract: The present disclosure provides a downlink control signaling sending method and device. The method includes: determining, by a base station, a first transmission type of a first terminal device and a second transmission type of a second terminal device; and sending demodulation information to the first terminal device according to the first transmission type and the second transmission type by using downlink control signaling, where the demodulation information is used to instruct the first terminal device to demodulate a transmission signal of the first terminal device that is received by the first terminal device. In this way, content of the demodulation information to be sent is specifically determined, so as to effectively resolve a problem that, during pairing at a plurality of layers, when different power ratios are configured on different subbands, a large amount of signaling needs to be consumed for notification to the first terminal device.
