摘要: A liquid crystal display system is provided where a light irradiated onto each pixel provided at a liquid crystal display panel can be divided for each frame interval to selectively transmit and absorb the divided light. A liquid crystal display device includes a liquid crystal display panel and a timing controller that controls switching of a light transmission area and a light absorption area of the plurality of pixels for each frame interval. A liquid crystal shutter selectively absorbs and transmits a light irradiated onto each pixel for each frame interval. Electrode lines provided in a horizontal direction are symmetrically arranged at a front side of the liquid crystal display panel. The electrode lines makes a pair to be positioned at the front side of each pixel in the horizontal direction. A shutter driver alternately supplies a current to the pair of electrode lines positioned at the front side of each pixel in response to a control of the timing controller.

摘要: An apparatus and method for precisely measuring various biological information of a user's body by using a single measuring apparatus enable precisely and effectively measuring biological information including body fat, pulse and a blood vessel aging degree. By measuring an infrared absorbance or infrared rays irradiated to a measurement target according to a modulation and tuning method and obtaining the information with reference to supplementary biological information obtained from a user, the plurality of biological information can be precisely measured at a low driving voltage through the modulation and tuning method by using a single infrared light source. Also, the measuring apparatus can be reduced in size by simplifying its construction and can be effectively integrated into various device.

摘要: A liquid crystal display panel including first and second substrates, and a FLC layer interposed therebetween. A small quantity of additives are mixed in the FLC layer, without changing the electrical or chemical properties of the FLC. Under a proper temperature and an electric field, the FLC layer is ripened sufficiently. Thereafter, the FLC is exposed to light such that polymer networks are formed in the FLC layer due to the polymerization by the additives. The polymer networks connect with each other across molecular layers in the FLC such that the molecules of the FLC are stabilized in proper orientations and maintain their molecular layer structure regardless of the temperature variance. And, the diffraction grating becomes stable regardless of the temperature variance, and fast response time and good gray scale are achieved.
