Electrode lines provided in a horizontal direction are symmetrically arranged at a front side of the liquid crystal display panel. The electrode lines makes a pair to be positioned at the front side of each pixel in the horizontal direction. A shutter driver alternately supplies a current to the pair of electrode lines positioned at the front side of each pixel in response to a control of the timing controller.
