Abstract: A measurement period in which a User Equipment (UE) can be configured to take Positioning Reference Signal (PRS) measurements may include receiving PRS resources of a plurality of Positioning Frequency Layers (PFLs). To do so, the UE may tune (RF) circuitry of the UE from an active Bandwidth Part (BWP) to a frequency band of the at least one PFL, receive a plurality of PRS resources of a plurality of PFLs from one or more network nodes, and subsequent to receiving the plurality of PRS resources, re-tune the RF circuitry of the UE to the active BWP. The UE can then determine PRS measurements based on the plurality of PRS resources.

One technique involves a base station (BS) determining a plurality of resource bandwidths (BWs) within an active BWP that are available to be used for communications by one or more UEs. An indication of at least one resource BW of the plurality of resource BWs is signaled to a UE. Communications between the B S and the UE are performed on the at least one resource BW.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A base station that may include at least two transmission reception points (TRPs) next to a high speed train (HST) may transmit, to a user equipment (UE) on the HST, an indication of a quasi co-location (QCL) relationship indicating a relationship between a plurality of tracking reference signals (TRSs) and a demodulation reference signal (DMRS) of a data channel. Abstract: Disclosed are various techniques for wireless communication. In an aspect, a user equipment (UE) may receive, from a network entity, first information identifying positioning reference signal (PRS) resources. The UE may receive, from a base station, second information identifying sounding reference signal (SRS) resources. The UE may select, from PRS resources identified by the first information, PRS resources that satisfy a PRS-SRS proximity requirement with regard to at least one SRS resource identified by the second information. The UE may use the selected PRS resources at least for performing UE Rx-Tx measurements. In another aspect, a network entity may transmit, to a UE, first information identifying PRS resources. The network entity may transmit, to the UE, second information specifying a number of PRS resources to be used by the UE at least for performing UE Rx-Tx measurements.

Abstract: Disclosed are techniques related to wireless communication system in which a network node (e.g., a base station, gNB, etc.) may be allowed to puncture a reference signal (RS) to deliver high priority data (e.g., URLLC data) to a user equipment (UE) that is not currently being served by the network node. The RS may comprise a puncturable subset and an unpuncturable subset. The puncturable subset may comprise resources of the RS that are allowed to be punctured, and the unpuncturable subset may comprise resources of the RS that are prohibited from being punctured. The network node may transmit the RS such that unpuncturable subset indicates whether or not the puncturable subset of the RS has or has not been punctured. In this way, the network node can quickly inform whether or not the RS has been punctured to carry high priority data.

Abstract: Method and apparatus to signal insertion loss for SRS antenna switching. The apparatus determines an insertion loss for each antenna of a plurality of antennas. In an aspect, a base station calculates statistics of one or more time-angle metrics based on a signal received from a user equipment, and reports the statistics to a network entity, such as a location server, which uses the statistics to estimate a position of the UE. In some aspects, the network entity receives statistics from multiple base stations, which allows the network entity to more accurately determine the position of the UE. In some aspects, the base station reports the statistics to a network entity according to a statistics reporting configuration, which the network entity may provide to the base station.
