Abstract: Methods and apparatus for for adapting one or more parameters related to a number of active beams used by a wireless device. An example method generally includes operating in a first mode that involves a first number of active beams for at least one of transmitting or receiving, and taking one or more actions to adapt one or more parameters related to a number of active beams used by the user equipment (UE) to change to a second number of active beams. Another example method generally includes communicating with a UE operating in a first mode that involves a first number of active beams for at least one of transmitting or receiving; and taking one or more actions to adapt one or more parameters related to a number of active beams used by the UE to change to a second number of active beams.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication at a user equipment (UE) are described. A UE may monitor a first slot for a semi-persistent scheduled transmission associated with a target slot for feedback information for the semi-persistent scheduled transmission. The UE may also monitor for a control message during a first time period based on a scheduling conflict between uplink transmission of the feedback information and a downlink reception at the target slot. In some examples, the UE may select a second slot subsequent to the first slot for transmission of the feedback information for the semi-persistent scheduled transmission based on at least one of monitoring for the control message during the first time period or an availability of uplink resources during a second time period at least partially overlapping with the first time period. The UE may then perform a communication procedure with a network device.

Abstract: A UE receives a configuration for one or more downlink reference signal or downlink channel from a base station and receives an indication of one or more time and frequency resources for full-duplex communication at the base station. The UE skips reception of the one or more downlink reference signal or downlink channel based at least in part on the indication of the one or more time and frequency resources for the full-duplex communication at the base station. A UE receives, from a base station, an allocation of uplink resources for an uplink transmission and receives an indication of one or more time and frequency resources for full-duplex communication at the base station. The UE transmits the uplink transmission to avoid the one or more time and frequency resources for the full-duplex communication at the base station.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A base station may identify an applicable restricted resource scheduling rule for restricting full-duplex operation on a first set of resources. The base station may transmit one or more control messages scheduling one or more full-duplex communications on a second set of resources based on the applicable restricted resource scheduling rule for restricting full-duplex operation on the first set of resources. In some examples, the second set of resources may overlap in time with the first set of resources. In other examples, the second set of resources may not overlap with the first set of resources in time or frequency. Accordingly, the base station may communicate the one or more full-duplex communications on the second set of resources. The described techniques may enable the base station to perform full-duplex communications with reduced interference and improved reliability.
