Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. Wireless communications systems may support both access links and sidelinks (e.g., D2D communication links) for communications between one or more communication devices. Wireless devices may communicate sidelink control information in two stages, where first stage sidelink control information (SCI-1) may be transmitted via a physical sidelink channel and second stage sidelink control information (SCI-2) may be transmitted via a physical shared channel. In cases where sidelink communications use several (e.g., three or more) layers, the described layer mapping techniques may provide for robust transmission of control information, higher data rates, improved spectral efficiency, etc. For example, SCI-1 and/or SCI-2 may be mapped to physical channel layers by repeating the same modulation symbols across all layers, across groupings or sets of layers, across layers associated with each codeword, etc.

Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment may receive, from a base station, an indicator associated with a hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) process, wherein the indicator indicates a number of mini-slots to be bundled for a HARQ transmission of the HARQ process; and decode the HARQ transmission based at least in part on the mini-slots. In some aspects, a base station may transmit an indicator, associated with a HARQ process, to a user equipment, wherein the indicator indicates a number of mini-slots to be bundled for a HARQ transmission of the HARQ process; and transmit the HARQ transmission to the user equipment using the mini-slots. Abstract: Aspects relate to adaptation of the modulation and coding scheme (MCS) of a downlink transmission to a scheduled entity that overlaps in time with an uplink transmission from the scheduled entity when the scheduled entity is operating in a full-duplex mode. A transport block corresponding to the downlink transmission may include a plurality of code block groups (CBGs). When at least a portion of the CBGs overlap in time with the uplink transmission, the MCS of the entire transport block or the MCS of the overlapping CBGs may be adjusted to accommodate and/or mitigate interference between downlink and uplink transmissions. The CBGs may further be time-interleaved over a plurality of symbols allocated for the downlink transmission to accommodate and/or mitigate interference between downlink and uplink transmissions. Other aspects, features, and embodiments are also claimed and described.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication are described. Some wireless communications systems may support configurations for grouping feedback information within a codebook. A user equipment (UE) may support one or more types of feedback. In some cases, the UE may generate subsets of feedback information within the codebook based on each type of feedback, which may increase overhead. To reduce overhead, the UE may receive signaling that indicates a configuration for grouping feedback information within a codebook. The UE may receive downlink messages that may be associated with a same set of uplink resources for transmitting a feedback message. The UE may generate a codebook to include one or more groups of feedback information in accordance with the configuration and based on the downlink messages. The UE may transmit the feedback message based on the codebook and via the set of uplink resources.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. Wireless communications systems may employ one or more scheduling constraints to support efficient utilization of techniques for intra-device handling of overlapping scheduled uplink transmissions (e.g., intra-device dynamic resource cancelation and multiplexing) as well as inter-device handling of overlapping scheduled uplink transmissions (e.g., inter-device dynamic resource cancelation and multiplexing). Scheduling constraints may define how a device may apply intra-device and inter-device multiplexing and cancelation rules for various scenarios. For example, a device may apply intra-UE cancelation rules before inter-device cancelation rules. In some examples, later-received grants or uplink preemption indications (ULPIs) may not change a device's previously established decision to drop an uplink transmission. As another example, a device may not expect to receive a grant for an uplink transmission that would arise in subsequent cancelation of that uplink transmission due to a previously-received grant or previously-received ULPI.

Abstract: Wireless communications systems and methods related to communicating a serving cell dormancy indication field and acknowledgement. In some implementations, a wireless communication device (e.g., user equipment), may detect a physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) with a secondary cell (Scell) dormancy indication field. The user equipment can change states from an initial state to another state (e.g., a dormancy-like state to a non-dormancy like state) based on detecting Scell indicator field in the PDCCH. The user equipment may also transmit a hybrid-ARQ acknowledgment (HARQ-ACK) in response to the detecting the PDCCH with the Scell dormancy indication field. A wireless communication device (e.g., a user equipment (UE)) may receive information indicative of sets of resources for performing a cross link interference (CLI) measurement during one or more subband full-duplex (SBFD) symbols or one or more non-SBFD symbols. Additionally, the information may indicate additional sets of resources for reporting results of the CLI measurement. The wireless communication device may perform the CLI measurement using one of the sets of resources based on whether the CLI measurement is performed in one or more SBFD symbols or one or more non-SBFD symbols. In some examples, the wireless communication device may transmit a report indicating the results of the CLI measurement using a respective additional set of resources.
