摘要： A Family Branch Exchange (FBX) overcomes limitations of conventional residential telephone technology to inexpensively provide more useful and advanced residential telephone services. For example, a method of providing automatic call forwarding comprises receiving, at a service provider system connected to a telephone network and optionally to a data network, a call including dialing information indicating a person to whom the call is to be placed, retrieving, at the service provider system, destination information for the indicated person, and forwarding, from the service provider system, the call to at least one destination indicated by the destination information.

摘要： A PBX causes an external line button of an incoming alert target terminal to flash on and off when there is an incoming alert from an external line. The PBX saves log data to a log data storage area of a memory in a case in which a non-answer monitoring time expires without an agent of the terminal pressing the external line button of terminal. Thereafter, the PBX extracts log data stored in log data storage area and transmits the log data to manager terminal in a case in which manager terminal indicates the acquisition of report information to the PBX.

摘要： A method and system of managing ringtones and alarms by intercepting device events, associating them with user events, smartphone sensor data and text search to intelligently alter the smartphone ringtones without user intervention. Conventionally, altering the ringtone of a smartphone is done through manual selection and is at most customizable with static selections like a different ringtone for text messages and a different for phone call. The present invention provides a control program along with associated data structures that implement intelligent and context sensitive ringtone selection decisions based on a combination of user data from their incoming text, email, alerts, phone calls and combining them with sensor data from the functions of sensory apparatus on smartphones, user generated functions and a rules set for establishing ringtone rules.

摘要： The present disclosure generally relates to systems and methods for establishing and maintaining communication between two or more communication devices coupled to communication networks. Some specific aspects relate to communication between a plurality of communication devices each of which is coupled to a respective network. Other aspects relate to establishing such communication by way of contact lists maintained and facilitated on systems coupled to the networks. Users of multiple communication networks, such as VoIP, PSTN and wireless, employ multiple communication devices to communicate with their contacts. For example, a VoIP enabled computer is necessary to access contacts on a VoIP network and a mobile or cellular telephone is used to access contacts on wireless and PSTN networks. A contact list, stored on one communication device, in some instances, cannot be accessed from another communication device. For example, a contact list stored in a VoIP enabled computer cannot be accessed from PSTN or wireless phone devices. Various embodiments described herein provide a convenient solution that can integrate contacts stored on different communication devices and make them accessible from a single device.

摘要： A system and method for a selective ring silencer that prevents people from having to listen to the telephone ring on and on with nuisance calls. The ringer silencer can be: (1) discretely constructed from a telephone, (2) part of a telecommunication device, or (3) part of a central telephone network construction. A receiver demodulates an incoming call. Control logic reads at least a portion of the called identification (CID) data and determines an action based on the reading. A switch in communication with the control logic is actuated to a first state that allows the communication data to be output from the ring silencer, and a second state that blocks the communication data from being output from the ring silencer to a user's communication device. The control logic blocks toll-free area codes originated calls from ringing a user's telephone, optionally forwarding the call to a voice mail module.

In some embodiments, a method may include receiving a connection request from a first device to setup an IP telephony communications session with a second device, transmitting a request to send a push notification message including telecommunication invitation data to the second device to notify a user of the second device of the connection request, receiving a first response from the second device indicating acceptance of the connection request, sending an indication to the first device that the connection request has been accepted at the second device, receiving a second response from the second device that is used to complete the IP telephony communications session connection between the first and second devices, and connecting the second device with the first device to establish the IP telephony communications session based on the second response.
