摘要: An origination device transmits a “received data signal” to a signal forwarding device. The “received data signal” comprises a first set of data. The origination device also transmits at least one “received control signal” to the signal forwarding device and to a destination device. The at least one “received control signal” comprises a first set of control information and a second set of control information. The first and second sets of control information are both associated with the first set of data. The first set of control information contains instructions pertaining to the signal forwarding device processing the first set of data. The second set of control information contains instructions pertaining to the destination device processing the first set of data. The signal forwarding device transmits a “forwarded signal” to the destination device. The “forwarded signal” contains forwarded data, based on the first set of data.

摘要: One embodiment illustrated herein includes a system for simulating communications in an environment. The system includes a postulated physical environment model, having modeled terrain and continuous changes over time. A channel parameter calculator is coupled to the postulated physical environment model, and configured to obtain samples from the postulated physical environment model, each sample comprising information about modeled terrain at a given time. The channel parameter calculator is further configured to, from the obtained samples, generate communication channel parameters, over time. A channel simulator is coupled to the channel parameter calculator. The channel simulator is configured to be coupled to signal source and to, using the communication channel parameters, apply the communication channel parameters to a communication signal from the signal source to simulate transmission of data through a simulated channel over time.

摘要: The wireless power transmission system includes a power supply device and a power receiving device. The power supply device includes a power supply coil, an inverter driving the power supply coil and a radio and a first processor. The power receiving device includes a resonant circuit wirelessly receiving electric power from the power supply coil, a rectifying circuit DB outputting a rectified voltage, a load, a radio unit and a second processor. The second processor transmits a communication packet in a predetermined period of time, the communication packet including information about a rectified voltage value and a circulation index value indicating transmission sequence. The first processor outputs a signal according to the rectified voltage value included in the communication packet every time the first processor receives the communication packet without delay.

摘要: A method for measuring downlink delay in a radio system includes applying a digital representation of a Gaussian pulse to a digital interface of the radio system; marking the digital representation of the Gaussian pulse with respect to a frame of digital data with a marker; propagating the Gaussian pulse in the radio system to an antenna, the radio system configured to convert the digital representation of the Gaussian pulse to a radio frequency signal transmitted at the antenna; measuring when the Gaussian pulse occurs in the radio frequency signal based on the marker; and determining a downlink propagation delay for the radio system between application of the digital representation of the Gaussian pulse at the digital interface and transmission of the radio frequency signal at the antenna.

摘要: Embodiments of the disclosure relate to systems and methods for determining asymmetric downlink and uplink propagation delays in a wireless distribution system (WDS) for more accurately determining propagation delay. In this regard, a WDS is configured to determine both the separate downlink and uplink propagation delays between a central unit and a plurality of remote units. It is not presumed that the downlink propagation delay and the uplink propagation delay in the WDS are symmetric to provide a more accurate determination of propagation delay. Therefore, it is possible to determine the downlink and uplink propagation delays with improved accuracy, thus enabling more precise location identification in the WDS.

摘要: Advanced detectors for vector signaling codes are disclosed which utilize multi-input comparators, generalized on-level slicing, reference generation based on maximum swing, and reference generation based on recent values. Vector signaling codes communicate information as groups of symbols which, when transmitted over multiple communications channels, may be received as mixed sets of symbols from different transmission groups due to propagation time variations between channels. Systems and methods are disclosed which compensate receivers and transmitters for these effects and/or utilize codes having increased immunity to such variations, and circuits are described that efficiently implement their component functions.
