    Abstract: An aerial vehicle includes a body and an antenna assembly mounted to the body. The antenna assembly includes a fairing component comprising a hollow body, a conductive coating formed on at least an inner surface of the fairing component, a plurality of antenna elements formed in the conductive coating, each antenna element including a first slot line defining a first transmission line and a second slot line defining a second transmission line, an insulator sleeve disposed within the fairing component, wherein an outer surface of the insulator sleeve at least substantially matches an inner surface of the fairing component, and a plurality of cable assemblies operably coupled to the plurality of antenna elements, wherein each cable assembly is coupled to a respective antenna element.

    Abstract: A measurement system comprising a measurement device and at least a first probe unit and a second probe unit is disclosed. The first probe unit and the second probe unit are each connected to the measurement device in a signal transmitting manner. At least one of the measurement device and the first probe unit comprises a control unit. The first probe unit comprises an interface module being configured to generate an input data signal and to provide the input data signal to the control unit. The control unit is configured to generate and provide a control signal at least to the second probe unit based on the input data signal. Moreover, a method for operating a measurement system is disclosed.

    Abstract: A resonance structure includes a conductor part that expands along a first plane including a first direction and a third direction; a ground conductor that expands along the first plane; first pair conductors that electrically connect the conductor part and the ground conductor along a second direction intersecting the first plane and face each other in the first direction; and second pair conductors that electrically connect the conductor part and the ground conductor along the second direction and face each other in the third direction. The conductor part capacitively connects the first pair conductors and capacitively connects the second pair conductors. A first edge and a second edge of the conductor part intersect with each other. The first edge extends in the first direction from one conductor of the first pair conductor. The second edge extends in the third direction from one conductor of the second pair conductors.

    Abstract: The present invention provides a mobile terminal, which includes a Vivaldi antenna system arranged in the mobile terminal, wherein the Vivaldi antenna system includes two pairs of Vivaldi antenna arrays, opening directions of one pair of the Vivaldi antenna arrays are along a length direction of the mobile terminal, opening directions of the other pair of the Vivaldi antenna arrays are along a thickness direction of the mobile terminal, and each pair of the Vivaldi antenna arrays includes two Vivaldi antenna arrays with opposite opening directions, and the Vivaldi antenna arrays operate in a frequency band of 5G millimeter waves. Compared with the related art, the mobile terminal provided by the present disclosure has wide and uniform beam bandwidths in a non-scanning direction, thus achieving excellent spatial coverage efficiency.

    Abstract: An antenna element includes a dielectric substrate, a radiation electrode, a first ground electrode, a second ground electrode, and a via conductor that connects the first ground electrode and the second ground electrode to each other. The dielectric substrate includes a flat-plate-shaped first part and a second part that is thinner than the first part. The radiation electrode and the first ground electrode are arranged on or in the first part so as to face each other in the thickness direction of the first part. The second ground electrode is spaced apart from the radiation electrode. The second ground electrode is arranged on or in the second part so as to not face the radiation electrode in the thickness direction of the second part. The radiation electrode is capacitively coupled to the second ground electrode and the via conductor.

    Abstract: An antenna module includes: a board having a first surface including a ground region and a feed region; and chip antennas mounted on the first surface, each of the chip antennas including a first antenna and a second antenna. The first antenna and the second antenna each include a ground portion bonded to the ground region, and a radiation portion bonded to the feed region. A length of a radiating surface of the first antenna is greater than a mounting height of the first antenna, and a mounting height of the second antenna is greater than a length of a radiating surface of the second antenna. A horizontal spacing distance between the radiation portion of the first antenna and the ground region is greater than a horizontal spacing distance between the radiation portion of the second antenna and the ground region.

    Abstract: An apparatus is provided that includes a first multi-port antenna that operates with a first radiation pattern when a first port is used and operates with a second radiation pattern, different to the first radiation pattern, when a second port, different to the first port, is used. The apparatus also includes a second multi-port antenna that operates with a third radiation pattern when a third port is used and operates with a fourth radiation pattern, different to the third radiation pattern, when a fourth port, different to the third port, is used.
