摘要: The present invention relates to the field of passenger conveyor technologies, and provides a speed detection system of a passenger conveyor and a speed detection method thereof. In the speed detection system and the speed detection method of the present invention, an imaging sensor and/or a depth sensing sensor are/is used to sense at least one part of the passenger conveyor to acquire sequence frames, and the sequence frames are analyzed by a processing apparatus to obtain at least speed information about steps of the passenger conveyor.

摘要: A human transport device such as an escalator or a moving walkway may include tread elements connected into an endless transport belt, a drive unit for driving the transport belt, and a monitoring apparatus for detecting a faulty arrangement of at least one of the tread elements in the transport belt. The tread elements of the driven transport belt may pass through a transport region and a return region between a first return station and a second return station. The monitoring apparatus may have a detection means and a triggering unit. The detection means may be arranged in a direction of a longitudinal extension of the human transport device below the tread elements of the transport region between the first and second return stations. The detection means may be connected to the triggering unit, and the triggering unit may actuate upon mechanical influence on the detection means.

摘要: A safety system for use in a drive system includes first and second safety sensors that provide respective first and second sensor signals indicative of a safety condition of the drive system. The safety system includes a safety device that processes the first and second sensor signals to determine a safety state of the drive system, and that controls a unit of the drive system based on the safety state. The safety device includes a multi-core processor having first and second processing cores. In some embodiments, the first and second processing cores receive and process the respective first and second sensor signals in parallel to determine the safety state. In other embodiments, each of the first and second processing cores receive both the first and second sensor signals, and each of the first and second processing cores process both the first and second sensor signals to determine the safety state.

摘要: An escalator system includes a pit having an access cover plate, a detector indicating when the access cover plate is open and when it is closed, and a user interface which is located in said pit and which in an active state provides the escalator system with control signals controlling the operation of the escalator and which in a passive state does not affect the operation of the escalator. In order to improve the safety of the escalator system the escalator system is configured to stop movement of the escalator if the detector indicates that the access cover plate is closed while the user interface is in the active state.
