摘要： An improved magnetic attachment system involves a female component that is associated with a first object and a male component that is associated with a second object. The female component includes a hole and a first magnetic structure having a first plurality of magnetic source regions having a first polarity pattern. The male component includes a peg that can be inserted into the hole and a second magnetic structure having a second plurality of magnetic source regions having a second polarity pattern complementary to said first polarity pattern. The male and female component are configured such that when the peg is inserted into the hole the first and second magnetic structures face each other across an interface boundary enabling magnetic attachment of the first object to the second object, where while the peg remains inserted within the hole the male component can be rotated relative to the female component but translational movement of the male component relative to the female component is constrained.

In an embodiment the media binder includes spine clamps for securing physical media where the spine clamps define an interior cavity for receiving the physical media; a datum stop for aligning the physical media, the datum stop disposed proximal to one end of the spine clamp; a tension sheet for transmitting an opening force to the spine clamp, the tension sheet affixed with the spine clamp; and a cover affixed with the tension sheet, the cover configured to open such that an opening force is applied to the spine clamp when the cover is opened from a first position to a second position.

摘要： A money clip having greater resilience without yielding by using a thin, stiff material. The clip may have a base and a lever, the lever being connected to the base by a spring, subject to bending deflection in use. The clip provides a reverse bend, or knee between the principal bend at the back of the clip, and a lip at the front of the clip. A long tongue extends as part of a base, extending out from the front of the clip where the lip contacts the tongue along a contact line. Near the back of the clip, the spring is formed as a loop having a diameter greater than the throat formed by the lever and base at their greatest distance from one another. The throat provides greater leverage on money held in the clip than does the lip, but both provide significant force to secure money without yielding the spring or lever, and without allowing the money to turn, twist, or slide. A single bill, or fifty bills may be inserted into the clip with a totally elastic response by the clip.

摘要： A paper clip is made of sheet metal folded over in a U-shaped profile to provide parallel clip faces and one of the clip faces has at least one slit bordering a strip of the sheet metal which is bowed out, so as to form a bistable spring portion. The spring strip is bowed out for inserting the clip. Finger pressure on the strip snaps it into its clipping position and finger pressure on the clip face beyond the ends of the bowed strip will snap the strip back into its open position for release of the papers.
