    摘要： A cooperative processing system includes an operation terminal and a cooperative processing device connected to each other, and is connectable to a plurality of electronic devices. The cooperative processing system causes one of electric devices to function as an input device to cause electronic data to be input therefrom and one of the electric devices to function as an output device to output the electronic data. The cooperative processing system includes an obtaining unit to obtain input device information to specify the input device and output device information to specify the output device, an input control unit to cause the input device to input electronic data through a first interface according to the input device information, and an output control unit to cause the output device to output the electronic data through a second interface according to the output device information in an format appropriate for the output device.

The method to share favorite image reading apparatuses of a host apparatus includes registering at least one of searched image reading apparatuses to a list of favorite image reading apparatuses; selecting at least one of the registered favorite image reading apparatuses to be shared; activating a sharing function to share the selected favorite image reading apparatus; transmitting the list of favorite image reading apparatuses to or receiving a list of favorite image reading apparatuses from another host apparatus of which the sharing function is activated. Therefore, a universal driver may share a list of favorite image reading apparatuses.

When the scanner sharing device is in an automatic switching mode, the switch control unit maintains the connection between the computer connection terminal associated with that one computer and the scanner device connection terminal until the switch control unit receives a processing completion signal.
