摘要: A noise-reducing fan system, comprising a motor, a fan body, a plurality of magnetic-inducing elements, a magnetic field generator and a noise-reducing sound source device, is provided. Here, the fan body is mounted on the motor. The fan body comprises a plurality of blades, on which the plurality of magnetic-inducing elements are disposed, respectively. The magnetic field generator, which may generate a magnetic field, is employed for driving the plurality of magnetic-inducing elements to vibrate the plurality of blades and generate a vibration sound, so that at least one portion of the noise emitted from the fan body as rotating may be counterbalanced. The noise-reducing sound source device is disposed on a predetermined position and may send out a noise-reducing sound, so that the noise-reducing sound may counterbalance at least the other portion of the noise emitted from the fan body as rotating.

摘要: A system, method and program product for implementing an ultrasound security system for a mobile device. A system is described that that integrates with an operating system on a mobile computing device, and includes: an app flow analysis system that generates and maintains runtime flow graphs for apps running on the mobile device and analyzes the runtime flow graphs to identify a set of apps having confidential data flow application programming interfaces (APIs) in their execution paths; a detector that further evaluates the set of apps having confidential data flow APIs to identify a subset of vulnerable apps also having ultrasound emitting APIs; and a runtime correlation system that flags a vulnerable app as a potential data leak when a call to an ultrasound emitting API is detected from the vulnerable app. Also contemplated is a countermeasure system that broadcasts a temporal sound blocking signal to neutralize an ultrasound transmission from the vulnerable app.

摘要: A user content audio signal is converted into sound that is delivered into an ear canal of a wearer of an in-ear speaker, while the in-ear speaker is sealing off the ear canal against ambient sound leakage. An acoustic or venting valve in the in-ear speaker is automatically signaled to open, so that sound inside the ear canal is allowed to travel out into an ambient environment through the valve, while activating conversion of an ambient content audio signal into sound for delivery into the ear canal. Both user content and ambient content are heard by the wearer. The ambient content audio signal is digitally processed so that certain frequency components have been gain adjusted, based on an equalization profile, so as to compensate for some of the insertion loss that is due to the in-ear speaker blocking the ear canal. Other embodiments are also described and claimed.

摘要: Disclosed is a signal processor for headphone off-ear detection. The signal processor includes an audio output to transmit an audio signal toward a headphone speaker in a headphone cup. The signal processor also includes a feedback (FB) microphone input to receive a FB signal from a FB microphone in the headphone cup. The signal processor also includes an off-ear detection (OED) signal processor to determine an audio frequency response of the FB signal over an OED frame as a received frequency response. The OED processor also determines an audio frequency response of the audio signal times an off-ear transfer function between the headphone speaker and the FB microphone as an ideal off-ear response. A difference metric si generated comparing the received frequency response to the ideal off-ear frequency response. The difference metric is employed to detect when the headphone cup is disengaged from an ear.

The method comprises instructing a microphone electronically coupled by a client terminal to record a nonaural noise signal, instructing a circuit of the client terminal to record an aural noise signal using at least one electroacoustic transducer of an earphone, calculating a noise reduction signal based on a function combining nonaural noise signal and the aural noise signal, calculating a noise reduced signal based on a combination of a content signal prepared to be played by the at least one electroacoustic transducer and the noise reduction signal, and instructing the circuit to play the noise reduced signal via the at least one electroacoustic transducer. The nonaural noise signal and the aural noise signal are recorded at least partly simultaneously.
