    摘要: A film transport mechanism for a camera comprises a film take-up spool rotated to advance a filmstrip from a film cartridge onto the take-up spool, and a perforation sensor for detecting a turn-around perforation in a trailing end portion of the filmstrip to initiate return of the filmstrip from the take-up spool to the film cartridge. The perforation sensor is movable to a sensing position against the filmstrip to be able to drop into the turn-around perforation when the turn-around perforation is advanced to the perforation sensor. A film-on-spool sensor is located against an outermost convolution of the filmstrip as the filmstrip accumulates on the take-up spool, and is moved in response to increased accumulation of the filmstrip on the take-up spool to effect movement of the perforation sensor to its sensing position before the turn-around perforation can be advanced to the perforation sensor.

    摘要: A camera which can be loaded with a cartridge for a recording medium with a recording portion is disclosed. The camera includes a processing circuit for reproducing at least recording data recorded in the recording portion. The camera further includes a detecting unit that detects a state of use of the recording medium independently from the data reproduced by the processing circuit. A control circuit is also provided. When the processing circuit cannot perform reproduction of the recording data, the control circuit restricts an operation of the camera on the basis of the state of use of the recording medium detected by the detecting unit.

    摘要: A film metering pawl suitable for use with a motorized film drive has a perforation sensing tooth with a sloping leading edge that allows the tooth to be cammed out of each perforation by the perforation leading edge during prewind/rewind. The pawl also has an integral ramp which cooperates with a fixed pin to be lifted out of each perforation during frame-to-frame film advance beyond registration positions between exposures, without the necessity for mechanical connection to the camera exposure system. An infrared sensor monitors pawl position for motor drive/synchronization purposes.
