    摘要: The invention relates to a method for the manufacture of a sensor element and to a sensor element. In the method, both surfaces of a sensor film are provided with metallic electrodes. The sensor element is produced by cutting it from a larger amount of sensor element material. In the manufacture of the sensor element material, the electrodes are produced as a continuous process from roll to roll and the sensor element material is formed by laminating as a continuous process from roll to roll. At least the signal electrode consists of repeated electrode patterns which are at least partially connected to each other via one or more narrow connecting strips, and a sensor element of a desired length and/or shape is produced by cutting the material across the region of the connecting strips.

The supporting device can be a trunnion shaft or a shackle pin. Also, the sensing element includes a magnetic strain sensing element formed from a magnetic material in a plate-like shape having a plurality of holes and having a coil wound in an intersecting manner through the plurality of holes.

    摘要: In the load cell disclosed herein, relative displacement between bridging members or end caps mounted at different points along the axis of an elastic hollow cylinder is sensed by means of a variable reluctance transducer employing a pair of magnetically permeable core elements. One of the core elements is mounted on one of the bridging members and the other core element is C-shaped and mounted on the other bridging member with the ends of the C-shape in close proximity to the first core member thereby providing magnetic gaps whose widths are aligned with the cylinder axis. Windings around the ends of the C-shaped core provide electrical connection for an inductance which is variable as a function of the widths of the gaps and thus also of the axial displacement between the bridging members.

    摘要: A device for measuring displacement and force comprises two masses of material linked together by a parallel beam linkage which permits displacement of one mass relative to the other in a single direction. The displacement or force input to be measured is applied to one of the masses in the allowable direction. The displacement of the masses with respect to each other is sensed by a sensor. In a preferred embodiment, the sensor comprises a Hall effect sensor attached to one of the masses positioned between two magnets attached to the other mass. Movement of one mass relative to the other changes the magnetic field around the Hall effect sensor. The change is sensed by the Hall effect sensor.

    摘要: A transducer for measuring strain in an object on which the transducer is placed includes a flexible, generally planar frame member for placement on the object. The frame member, in turn, includes a pair of generally parallel beams, one of which is moveable with respect to the other when the object is subjected to strain, and a plurality of spaced-apart laterally flexible connecting beams extending between the pair of beams. The transducer also includes a force field emitter disposed on the one moveable beam for producing a force field which diminishes in strength with distance from the force field emitter. A spacer plate is disposed on the other of said parallel beams and a substrate is disposed on the spacer plate so as to be be positioned above, but spaced from the frame member. A detection element is disposed on the underside of the substrate generally above the force field emitter for detecting the presence of the force field and for producing signals representing force field strength and thus the distance of the detecting element from the force field emitter.
