    摘要: There is provided a control device of a coal pulverizer which enables estimation of a coal output with a precision suited for a purpose. In a control device of a coal pulverizer which pulverizes coal by the coal pulverizer and estimates coal output by which the pulverized coal is output to a boiler, the control device includes a main operation circuit which calculates a command signal associated with a coal feed rate on the basis of detection data from a boiler or a power generator connected to the boiler, and an additional control unit which calculates the deviation between a standard coal output pattern preset in the coal pulverizer, and a current coal output pattern, and adds a calculation result by the additional control unit to the main operation circuit as a correction signal.

    摘要: A fossil-fuel-fired system, which includes an emissions-control-agent dispenser, a furnace, an emissions monitor and, optionally, a controller, is disclosed. The emissions-control-agent dispenser provides a prescribed amount of organic-emissions-control agent, such as, for example, an opacity-control agent to the fossil-fuel-fired system. The furnace includes an exhaust communicating with the atmosphere. The emissions monitor is capable of measuring at least one property of the flue-gas communicated through the exhaust to the atmosphere. For example, when an organic-emissions-control agent is an opacity-control agent, the emissions monitor has the capability of at least measuring opacity. When included, the controller communicates with at least the emissions-control-agent dispenser and the emissions monitor.

    摘要: A closed loop control system for monitoring and regulating operation of a grinding mill to reduce material in quantity to exactly match a processor material demand. The control system regulates the operation of components of a grinding mill at in response to a linear interpolation of variables between predetermined set points stored in register tables, so as to substantially match the mill reducing capability with variations in the percentage of the processor material demand, without the need for operator intervention. Multiple register tables are provided to accommodate different feed materials or blends, and an operational history record is maintained to allow for reconstruction of events leading to any component failures. Air supplied through the grinding mill for transporting the ground material to the process is regulated to a substantially constant ratio of air to material from a minimum air velocity which maintains the ground material moving in the air stream, while the pressure differential across the grinding mill between its air supply and outlet is monitored for detecting abnormal changed in the differential pressure as a safety net.

    摘要: An exhauster is provided having an improved fan assembly for exhausting coal through an exhauster fan housing, the exhauster fan assembly being mountable within the housing on a shaft for rotation about a shaft rotational axis. The housing has an inlet generally aligned with the shaft rotational axis such that coal entering the housing through the inlet contacts the rotating exhauster fan and is redirected thereby along a radial outlet path. The exhauster fan assembly includes a plurality of blades and a hub having an outer surface, a free end, and a bore for receiving therein the free end of the shaft in an orientation in which the free end of the shaft and the free end of the hub are oriented in the same axial direction. The outer surface of the hub is radially outwardly spaced from the bore and the blades are mounted to the outer surface of the hub at uniform angular spacings therearound and project radially outwardly therefrom. The exhauster fan assembly also includes a hub protector assembly having a wear plate and wear plate connector means for connecting the plate to at least one of the free end of the shaft and the free end of the hub. The wear plate has an outer periphery each point of which is at a greater radial spacing from the shaft rotational axis than a corresponding angularly aligned point on the outer surface of the hub, whereby the wear plate fully radially overlies the hub and the shaft to which it is attached, as viewed along the shaft rotational axis.

    摘要: Centrifugal air classifiers without rotating classifying blades are frequently used in present-day coal-fired power stations. For economical reasons, these obtain the coal to be burnt from different sources so that the pulverized-coal furnaces are operated with coals of varying quality. In this arrangement, it is disadvantageous that, when coals of particularly low quality are burnt, this classifier is not capable of supplying the fineness of pulverized coal required for proper combustion. The invention has the object of creating a centrifugal air classifier of the type initially mentioned which provides the possibility of proper combustion of several types of coal in a pulverized-coal furnace. This object is achieved when, in the feed duct for the mixture of material to be classified and carrier gas, a jacket is arranged which surrounds the coarse-material collecting hopper at a distance and which leaves open an annular gap, which can be more or less closed by adjustable deflecting plates, to the feed duct, and when, at the lower end of the annular space formed by the coarse-material collecting hopper and the jacket a spin-generating ring of regulating flaps is arranged.
