摘要: One method includes monitoring a ransomware risk measure, when the ransomware risk measure indicates the presence of a suspected ransomware process, determining if it is time to overwrite a snapshot stored in backup data storage, and when it is time to overwrite the snapshot, moving the snapshot from the backup data storage to a vault to free space in the backup data storage for new snapshots that continue to be taken after the presence of suspected ransomware is indicated.

摘要: A data confidence fabric that is network topology aware is disclosed. When data is able to be transmitted over one of multiple communication channels, confidence information related to the transmission of the data over a selected communication channel is associated with the data. Events, such as failover, are also reflected in the confidence information and confidence score of the data. The confidence information and/or confidence scores allow applications to determine how to trust data in a manner that accounts for the transmission path.

摘要: Host IO write operations on a given storage group are grouped into cycles of a write destage pipeline for the storage group. Host writes are collected during a capture cycle, while host writes from a previous capture cycle are analyzed and destaged during an apply cycle. After the previous apply cycle has completed, a cycle switch occurs and the current capture cycle becomes the new apply cycle. Anomaly detection is implemented before any IO write operations are destaged during the apply cycle, and if an anomaly is detected the write destage is stopped. The entire apply cycle is either destaged to disk, or is discarded, depending on whether the anomaly is confirmed. By maintaining the order of writes across different cycles, which act as consistency points, it is possible to implement ransomware protection in real time on host write operations, while using ordered write destage to maintain data consistency.

摘要: An example methodology includes, by a computing device, monitoring a status of a workflow execution and, responsive to a determination of a failure of the workflow execution, determining whether an error associated with the failure is a known error. The method also includes, responsive to a determination that the error is a known error, comparing an audit trail of the workflow execution with a failure scenario documented for the known error and, responsive to validating that the audit trail is the documented failure scenario, performing one or more recovery actions documented for the known error. The method may also include, responsive to a determination that the error is not a known error, determining one or more recovery actions for the error and the audit trail, and updating a record of known failures with the error, the audit trail, and the one or more recovery actions.

摘要: A method, comprising: receiving, at a computing system, a given single-action API call, the given single-action API call being transmitted by a sender, the given single-action API call being associated with a given operation; detecting whether the given single-action API call is part of a burst, wherein detecting whether the given single-action API call is part of the burst includes detecting whether a plurality of single-action API calls that are associated with the given operation have been received from the sender of the given single-action API call in a predetermined time window; when the given single-action API call is part of a burst, generating an error message in response to the given single-action API call and returning the error message to the sender of the given single-action API call; and when the given single-action API call is not part of a burst, executing the given single-action API call.

摘要: Techniques for setting feature flags involve generating a target feature flag file with a predetermined data format, the target feature flag file indicating a name and a target state of a target feature. Such techniques further involve generating a feature state query library of the target feature flag by converting the target feature flag file into a plurality of target codes corresponding to a plurality of target programming languages. Such techniques further involve querying, from the feature state query library, a target code corresponding to a target programming language used by a client in the plurality of target programming languages. Such techniques further involve sending the queried target code to the client, the target code indicating the target state of the target feature.

摘要: An example methodology includes, responsive to receiving a first volume creation request to create one or more volumes on a storage device, creating a first operation object for the first volume creation request and determining that a waiting buffer is appropriate for the first operation object. The method also includes placing the first operation object in the waiting buffer and, responsive to a determination that the first operation object is a first operation object placed in the waiting buffer, notifying a waiting buffer thread of the first operation object in the waiting buffer. The method further includes, upon expiration of a predetermined buffer waiting period defined for the waiting buffer, by the waiting buffer thread, extracting the first volume creation request and a second volume creation request from the waiting buffer, combining the first and second operation objects into single workload, and executing the single workload.

摘要: Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to a method, an electronic device, and a computer program product for processing a target object. The method includes acquiring an initial non-video feature vector on the basis of at least one input of a received speech input and text input. The method further includes taking, in response to not receiving a video input, a default feature vector as an initial video feature vector corresponding to the video input. The method further includes generating a video feature, a speech feature, and a text feature on the basis of the initial non-video feature vector and the initial video feature vector. The method further includes generating a processing parameter for a target object on the basis of the video feature, the speech feature, and the text feature, wherein the processing parameter includes at least one of an emotion parameter, an attribute parameter, and a pose parameter.

摘要: An apparatus comprises a processing device configured to identify a plurality of workloads to be scheduled for execution on a storage system and to analyze the plurality of workloads to predict a magnitude of storage capacity savings achieved by applying one or more deduplication algorithms to data of the plurality of workloads. The processing device is further configured to determine a prioritization of the plurality of workloads based at least in part on the predicted magnitude of the storage capacity savings achieved by applying the one or more deduplication algorithms to the data of the plurality of workloads, and to schedule the plurality of workloads for execution on the storage system based at least in part on the determined prioritization of the plurality of workloads.

摘要: An apparatus comprises a processing device configured to select, from a first storage virtualization appliance, virtual volumes to migrate to a second storage virtualization appliance. The processing device is also configured to determine a configuration of first storage elements of the first storage virtualization appliance utilized to implement the selected virtual volumes, and to provision second storage elements for implementing the selected virtual volumes on the second storage virtualization appliance, the second storage elements being provisioned in an inactive state. The processing device is further configured to pause input-output operations directed to the selected virtual volumes on the first storage elements, to modify the first storage elements from an active state to the inactive state and the second storage elements from the inactive state to the active state, and to resume input-output operations directed to the selected virtual volumes on the second storage elements of the second storage virtualization appliance.
