In the disclosed method for supporting the setting of a service, an allocation set that designates the allocation of a program to an information processing device is generated, the service response time and the consumed system power during use of each allocation set are calculated, and from these evaluation results, an allocation set that meets a standard service response time and reduces consumed system power is selected.

Since no access history is generated for when a file update which makes use of a copy and paste function is performed, it is difficult to detect the file that served as the reference source during the update. Hence, the present invention is provided to manage a client access history for each file that is stored in a storage device, and detect a file, which has been accessed between a time when a corresponding user logs into the storage device and a time when an updated file is updated based on information of the access history, as the reference source for the updated file.

Provided is an information system for preserving data of a storage device in a computer that repeats the connection to and disconnection from a communication network. The computer acquires data to be written into the storage device and manages the update status of the storage device, transfers the data written into the storage device to the storage controller independent from the writing of data into the storage device when the computer is in a communicable state with the storage controller, and discontinues the transfer of data written into the storage device to the storage controller and manages the transfer status when the computer is not in a communicable state with the storage controller.

System, method and program product performed by a proxy server which forwards an access request from a client to a data server and forwards response data from the data server to the client. A first address location and an encoding format of the response data are stored. A subsequent access request from the client which includes a second address location encoded by the encoding format is received. The second address location is compared to the first address location to determine if the second address location is related to the first address location. In response to a determination that the second address location is related to the first address location, the second address location is decoded based on the encoding format. The data server can be a web server, the response data can be a web page, and the second address location can include the first address. For example, the second address location can be an extension of the first address location.

A low-cost vehicle air-conditioning apparatus for idle stopping vehicles is capable of performing both cooling and heating operations throughout the year. The air-conditioning apparatus includes an engine-driven compressor and engine-driven pump for a heating unit. The air-conditioning apparatus includes a motor-driven compressor and pump. A control unit drives the motor such that the motor-driven compressor is operated when there is a need for cooling and the motor-driven pump is operated when there is a need for heating when the engine is stopped. Battery power is conserved through various methods.

A remote management system includes a managed device and a management device connected via a network, where events occurring in the managed device are managed via an event system scheme which can be adapted to a number of managed devices. A management module in the managed device detects an event occurring in the managed device and locates one or more enquiry destinations corresponding to the event, in an event enquiry destination table. An enquiry destination is assigned in cases where one or more enquiry destinations corresponding to the event identifier have not been defined in the event enquiry destination table. The management module makes an enquiry by sending an identifier for the event to the management device. Enquiries are made simultaneously or consecutively to the one or more enquiry destinations.

The invention relates to a pyrophosphoric acid bath for use in cyanogen-free copper-tin alloy plating that contains an additive (A) composed an amine derivative, an epihalohydrin and a glycidyl ether compound with ratios of epihalohydrin to glycidyl ether compound being 0.5-2 to 0.1-5 on mol basis, per 1 mol of the amine derivative, has a pH of 3 to 9, and optionally contains an additive (B) composed of an organic sulfonic acid and/or an organic sulfonic acid salt, and to a copper-tin alloy coating obtainable by using the bath. The invention provides a pyrophosphoric acid bath for use in copper-tin alloy plating of the cyanogen-free type utilizable on an industrial scale, particularly, capable of performing uniform treatment to exhibit low defective product generation rates even with the current density being incessantly changing between a high state and a low state, as a barrel plating method, and a copper-tin alloy coating obtainable by using the bath.

In a method for manufacturing an electron tube including a front substrate and a back substrate, a wiring and an electrode are formed on the front substrate and/or the back substrate. A component is mounted on the front substrate and/or the back substrate. A ring-less getter is mounted on at least one of the front substrate, the back substrate and the component. A vessel is assembled and sealed so that the front substrate faces the back substrate. A light is irradiated on the ring-less getter from outside of the sealed vessel, thereby activating the ring-less getter.
