摘要: Transistors (12a, 12b) turn on and off with mutually opposite phase input signals. Capacitors (16a, 16b) discharge when the transistors (12a, 12b) turn on, and capacitors (16a, 16b) are charged by constant current from constant current sources (18a, 18b) when the transistors (12a, 12b) turn off. As a result, a gradually rising voltage is obtained at the positive input ends of comparators (14a, 14b) while the input signals are L. By comparing this with fixed voltages of reference sources (20a, 20b), signals having rise timing shifted from input signals by 90° are obtained. The outputs of the comparators (14a, 14b) are mutually shifted by 180°, and at the rise of these outputs, an RS flip-flop (22) is set and reset so that signals delayed in phase by 90° with respect to the input signals are obtained at its outputs.

摘要: A method for preparing a negative electrode material for a lithium secondary cell comprises heat-treating pitch fibers at a first temperature of 800.degree.-2600.degree. C. to make carbon fibers, pulverizing the carbon fibers to make carbon fiber particles, heat treating the carbon fiber particles at a second temperature greater than the first temperature thereby providing carbon fiber particles with a layer spacing between carbon layers of less than 0.338 nm and an average particle size of 5-200 .mu.m.

摘要: A dampening arrangement for a printing press such as a lithographic press includes at least one solution receiving roller for receiving dampening solution and other rollers for conveying the dampening solution to a printing plate. The dampening arrangement is provided with a nozzle unit having a plurality of nozzles arranged substantially in parallel with the axis of the solution receiving roller and opposed to predetermined areas on the surface of the solution receiving roller, and a dampening solution supply source connected to the nozzle means for supplying the nozzles with a pressurized dampening solution. The distance between the nozzles and the surface of the solution receiving roller is automatically adjusted in accordance with the printing speed of the printing press. The printing press does not cause a printing defect due to excess supply of the dampening solution even when the printing press is operated at a high speed.

摘要: As the conventional simple bio-sensors for measuring the particular component in living bodies, there are those in which a change in dye caused by enzyme reaction is detected optically, but such bio-sensors had a problem that precision is low owing to disturbance of the color of liquid samples. With bio-sensors using an enzyme electrode, the precision was high, but operation of measurement was troublesome. The present invention made it possible to detect the concentration of the particular component electromechanically with rapidity, simplicity and high precision by merely putting a porous substrate containing at least enzyme on the electrode system and impregnating the body with a liquid sample.

摘要: An organic electrolyte cell using copper oxide as a cathode active material and lithium or a lithium base alloy as an anode active material has a high energy density and is interchangeable with a general-purpose cell, but it has a disadvantage of voltage drop at an initial discharge stage. The present invention incorporates chalcopyrite as an active material into the copper oxide to eliminate the disadvantage, so that the cell may be used as an electric source for a precision electronic device such as an electronic watch. Furthermore, the present invention improves the efficiency of discharge of the copper oxide itself.
