A display device includes a first base substrate including a display area and a peripheral area around the display area; a voltage line disposed on the peripheral area of the first base substrate; a protrusion disposed on the voltage line and including a first pattern containing a first color material and a second pattern containing a second color material different from the first color material; a connection electrode disposed on the protrusion and connected with the voltage line; and a light-blocking pattern disposed on the connection electrode and provided with an opening for partially exposing the connection electrode, wherein the protrusion includes a multilayer portion where the first pattern and the second pattern overlap each other and a single-layer portion where the first pattern and the second pattern do not overlap each other, and a lateral surface of the light-blocking pattern, defining the opening, overlaps the single-layer portion.

A light emitting display device according to an exemplary embodiment of the present disclosure includes: a first substrate; an insulating layer disposed on the first substrate and having an inclined portion; a first electrode disposed on the insulating layer; a light-emitting layer disposed on the first electrode; a second electrode disposed on the light-emitting layer; and a plurality of color conversion layers disposed on the second electrode. The first electrode includes an inclined portion that is inclined along the inclined portion of the insulating layer based on a surface parallel to the first substrate, and the light-emitting layer includes semiconductor nano-particles.

A liquid crystal display (LCD) device and method of manufacturing the same are provided. The LCD comprises, a first substrate, a second substrate facing the first substrate, a liquid crystal layer interposed between the first substrate and the second substrate and includes liquid crystal molecules, an alignment film disposed between the liquid crystal layer and the first substrate, a pixel electrode disposed between the alignment film and the first substrate, a photo-curable layer between the liquid crystal layer and the alignment films, a common electrode disposed between the liquid crystal layer and the second substrate, and a vertical alignment inducing layer between the common electrode and the liquid crystal layer. The vertical alignment inducing layer includes a self-aligned vertical alignment inducer, and the vertical alignment inducer includes a hydrophilic group, and an affinity liquid crystal group having high affinity with the liquid crystal molecules.
