Abstract: A display device may include a liquid crystal layer and a pixel electrode that overlaps the liquid crystal layer. The pixel electrode may include a first bar, a second bar, a third bar, and a plurality of first-type branches. The second bar may be directly connected to a first end of the first bar. The third bar may be directly connected to a first end of the second bar or directly connected to a second end of the first bar. The first-type branches may be slanted with respected to the first bar and may be positioned between the third bar and at least one of the first bar and the second bar.
