In some aspects, a control node may determine at least one of a transmission power or a reception power for at least one of a first signal or a second signal to be communicated between a target wireless node and at least one other wireless node based at least in part on a priority level of the first signal relative to the second signal, wherein the transmission power or the reception power is based at least in part on at least one of an identity or state of the target wireless node or the at least one other wireless node, or a type of the first signal or the second signal; and configure the transmission power or the reception power to be used for the first signal or the second signal. Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A relay node may detect that a person is within a proximity threshold of the relay node, the proximity threshold being associated with a maximum permissible exposure limit. The relay node may determine, based at least in part on the detecting, that a first beamforming configuration is to be updated, the first beamforming configuration associated with beamformed communications relayed by the relay node between a first wireless node and a second wireless node using a first beam. The relay node may identify a second beamforming configuration for relay of the beamformed communications between the first wireless node and the second wireless node via a second beam having an exposure indicia that satisfies the maximum permissible exposure limit. The relay node may relay the beamformed communications between the wireless nodes using the second beam in accordance with the second beamforming configuration.

Abstract: A configuration for local coordination between the child node and parent node to enable SDM communication between the parent and child node, without input or interaction from the CU. The apparatus communicates with the second node based on the determined type of communication and utilizing the allocated resources. The apparatus coordinates with a parent node to utilize the allocated resources in an SDM operation between the child node and the parent node.

Abstract: When an integrated access backhaul (IAB) node connected to a user equipment (UE) detects a radio link failure in a communication with an IAB donor, the IAB node may perform various features to cause the UE perform one or more features accordingly without explicitly indicating the radio link failure to the UE. The IAB node may detecting a radio link failure in a communication between the IAB node and an IAB donor, and determine whether the IAB node has recovered from the radio link failure. The IAB node may refrain from broadcasting one or more synchronization signal blocks (SSBs) to one or more UEs including a UE connected to the IAB node in response to determining that the IAB node has not recovered from the radio link failure.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A base station may determine to operate in accordance with an energy saving mode in which the base station only transmits remaining minimum system information (RMSI) on-demand or reduces transmission of RMSI with respect to when the base station is operating outside of the energy saving mode. A user equipment (UE) may detect the base station that is operating in an energy saving mode. The UE may transmit a request for the base station to transmit the RMSI to the UE, where the UE may transmit the request to the energy saving base station or to a serving base station of the UE. The UE may receive, from the base station operating in the energy saving mode and responsive to the request, a message including the remaining minimum system information.

Abstract: Aspects of the disclosure relate to beam configuration for RF repeaters. An RF repeater is configured to measure received power of one or more signals in the repeater for each of a plurality of beam directions. Further, the repeater determines a beam forming configuration for a fronthaul link between the repeater and at least one base station based on the measured received power of each of plurality of beam directions. The repeater may also be configured to determine beam configurations for access links between the repeater and user equipment.
